With the bicycle through Berlin...To really have an inside view of Berlin, you have to experience Berlin. With a bus, train or your own car it will not work. A bike tour with one of our guides is the perfect approach to showcase our very green, big area and cycle friendly city of Berlin. You won’t have to wait at bus or tram stops, or waste your time looking for over-priced parking spaces. Travelling by bike you’ll always arrive right in the middle of the action. Just be here......Only BERLIN BIKE TOUR guarantees groups of max. 8 people. Mass tourism is a foreign word to us. Small groups, big adventures.....

Marcus took us on an awesome ride through the different neighbourhoods in the city - I had done a few tours of the city and saw a whole new and lovely side of the city. Gorgeous architecture and hidden gems and Marcus had lots of interesting information to share at every stop. Highly recommend!

Berlin is the best city break I have been on,so far in my travels. By bike is definitely the best way yo see this cool cosmopolitan city. Markus was our guide and he was friendly, very knowledgeable and open to all our questions. There is so much to see and just cycling through beautiful courtyards and passed the amazing museums... We did the Berlin Mitte tour and we were also lucky to get Markus as our guide. Don't let the cold weather put you off these tours at this time of the year, we had a great time and really enjoyed listening to Markus's stories about Berlin (remember your gloves though!). In just four hours we learnt so much about... More

We spent 2 nights in Berlin and the Berlin Bike Tour was a great way to experience the city in such a short time. We did the Mitte tour with Marko, full of information and an answer to every question, the weather was not the best but what do you expect in December, there was one other couple on the... More

We did the Berlin Wall tour with Markus and had a fantastic time. He was knowledgable, entertaining and happy to answer questions. Biking was the perfect way to cover the larger distances between stops. They had a tow behind (trailer) bike which I hitched to my bike for our 7 year old son. The tour was 4 hours long and... More

The company advertises tours in both German and English.I booked the 3 and a half "Berlin Mitte" tour before arriving on my first ever visit to the remarkable city of Berlin.I booked with this company because of the glowing reviews I had read here. At the same time I also booked a separate introductory tour with another company for my... More

Katie was an amazing guide for this informative tour of Berlin. She told stories from her family and her own childhood about the wall, and what it was like when the wall between east and west Berlin came down. The tour began at a cool old brewery and continued on shady neighborhood streets. We went into the center of the... More

My wife and I booked this tour and we enjoyed it thoroughly, it was hot and we are only novice bicycle riders but the bikes and out guide Alex were exceptional. It was 37 degrees out but Alex took his time with us and explains in detail what you are seeing at every stop around Berlin. This is a must... More

We had a fantastic tour around Berlin. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and interesting to listen to. We had our tour in English and her language was extremely good and accent was easy to understand. We saw the city in a way which simply isn't possible on any other mode of transport. There were only 3 of us plus the... More

After reading so many great reviews of the bike tour I booked myself and a few friends on the Mitte tour last Sunday. While the route covered by the tour is great, we did not have a good experience with our guide. She had very limited command over English and we did not get much information on the sites we... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
