Nice beer

The place is cozy and just the right size. Great taste of freshly brewed beer, also live music was available :)

Had a great time. Their collection of Beer is good ranging from Weiss to Dunkel to different flavours as well. The ambience is superb too. The prices are very reasonable. A great place to spend an evening with friends. They have a special flavour every week, just check out the black board for the same.

In Friedrichshain, you will will find this little peice of heaven. world class craft beers, brewed on the premises & great value too. We had a melon ale last time were there. Always visit this place when in Berlin. Will be back in January for another visit. Great atmosphere, great, informed staff. Brilliant.

Just like the title says: it's a cool place to hang out with friends. Just having a good beer, have a chat about the week and go home. If you're a tourist: grab a beer and go dancing at some other place.

Micro brewery pub, with a lovely atmosphere. Not far from Simon dach strasse where a lot of resaurants are, so worth popping in to this pub pre or post dinner. I would certainly recommend it, as Berlin doesn't have a lot of pubs in it, more bars with food. This is a pub !

If you want to drink something different in berlin you must stop at hops and barley! Here you can drink a brewery weiss, dunkel and pilsner that are extremely different from all the other( bottled )beers you find in Berlin. The cider is really good: I''ve never drink something like that!

This place is great - excellent homemade beer, good service and not too expensive. Stop here for a drink or three.

Micro brewery on a strange location. This is a perfect place to have a beer and talk to real Berliner. Our German is absolutely not good, but we talked with the locals about all the ingredients of the locally brewed beers. So relaxed. Try the "Spezialbier", we think this can't go wrong if you love good, tasty beer.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
