I am a craft beer enthusiast, and sought out a craft beer place close to my hostel. This place was small and hole-in-the-wall-y, which I liked, but it is quite small with limited seating for larger groups. The pub definitely got very busy after 6 or so, so if you're looking for less foot traffic in and out try and... More

Staff are friendly and very welcoming, and the beer is exceptional. The bar was very lively and full of people on a Monday night, but we managed to find a spot to sit - can't imagine how popular it is on a Saturday! Some buskers started playing some twenties-era jazz for a bit and then shifted on when they'd done... More

Popped in on a quiet Monday evening for 3 of the 4 pints they were pouring. Pilsner wasn't the best, but the IPA and Dunkles were great.

Popped in here for a nightcap after dinner, there was a great buzz in the place. Worth a visit if you are in Friedershain. It's not far from Simon Dach strasse which has plenty of bars and restaurants

This little pub brews all their own beer and it is excellent! I had the best pint of Pilsner ive ever tried here. The inside is rustic and has a nice charm about it and is in a nice part of Berlin.

On our last visit we were here on Thursday night and the brewpub was already busy ,we ordered a nice refreshing beer as it was a roasting hot night so... More

Spend my life at Craft beer bars. This one is ok in a city that's wonderful but not exactly brilliant at decent beer and for Germany that's poor. Their beers were ok , I found the Pale ale drinkable and the coffee ale fine. But the selection and indifferent service dies not make me want to rush back. Shame

Being a fan of craft beer, we couldn't miss this. Great bar to have a beer, which is made right on the premises and you can take away too. Out of the selection, I'd say the Weißbier is the best of them. Would go back again and again if I lived in Berlin.

We usually go there on weekends and it is nice to arrive before the end of the afternoon if you want to seat. Try the seasonal beer: it is always a good surprise. The pilsen is also a honest choice! I love the atmosphere of the bar and the staff is friendly! Some of them have a nice taste for... More

Different kinds of delicious beer and awesome atmosphere. The service was great as well. If there isn't room outside or in the first room, there is plenty of seating in a back room. Great place to chill out and drink a couple of beers.

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighborhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
