We heard about it a bit and went there. Spent an hour or so their, I could stay easily a lot more. this is something in between a garage and a museum, almost no explanations so you need to know your way around cars if you want to appreciate what you see. Cool place for kids as well.

This place is definitely worth of visit especially if you are car fan. It's free of charge, quite big with great collection of cars, sometimes very rare. Garages where you can see how people works with those cars and unbelievable atmosphere of this place makes it something special.

This is a great working car museum. It is slightly off the beaten track but easily accessible by public transport and is a great place to spend a couple of hours if your a car enthusiast. Well worth a visit

Classic Remise is a little way off the normal tourist route but it is absolutely worth a visit if you love cars. It's free of charge to roam around this huge warehouse full of rare or expensive cars and they are really something to behold. I'm not a huge car lover but I did enjoy my visit - note that... More

Worth the effort to find this place. Love the business concept behind it too. It is a garage, storage facility, museum and dealership rolled into one. The best part is that you can wander freely throughout most of the facility and get an up close and personal look at an amazing collection of cars. If you are a car buff,... More

This is a hidden place, quite far from the city center, but absolutely worth visiting. All kind of cars, models, ages....For display and for sales. Active workshops on the side corridor + more vehicles in the yard. If youlike vintage cars, this is a must for you. Do not expect any guiding! We just walked in and looked around on... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
