Surprisingly a free of charge museum with absolutely gorgeous vintage cars. A number of Mercedes-Benz from several decades starting from 1920's. There was also a whole lot more of different car brands and also newer cars. I recommend this to everyone who, like me, loves older cars. You can also see the garages that operate at this location with car... More

After a journey of around an hour and a bit of a walk we arrived at the Classic Remise. After reading other reviews I wasn't disappointed. Free of charge to visit and full of workshops, dealers and vehicles in storage, I went from car to car like a kid in a candy store. There were even classic motorbikes and a... More

One could easily spend all day walking around this place, a collection of cars for sale and personal cars stored in glass garages that you can "window shop". There are also various private service shops where you can poke in and see some renovations in action. A very cool find in a city full of things to do.

A remarkable collection of cars seldom seen elsewhere. The Oldtimers event which takes place in May is worthwhile.

it doesn't really matter wether you like cars or not, this place is a must. it's free and holds some of the most amazing cars ever built, most cars are for sale which is a bonus. it's a trek away from the centre but well worth the visit.

This place should be right near the very top of your To Do List in Berlin. Even if you only have the slightest hint of petrol in your veins it is an absolute must. The cars on show are pristine and you really are likely to see just about any classic car you can think of, and maybe one or... More

This is free and interesting to walk around, if you are even slightly into 'cars'. I did enjoy it as a moderate fan of cars but by boyfriend really liked it.

A great place, loaded with antique cars and new supercars. It is totally free, as it is used as a garage and a meeting place for sellers and buyers.

This is not an attraction as such, it is a collection of classic cars, shops and workshops in one building. If you like cars this is the place to see them, you are free to wander around and the watch mechanics as they work as well as see some beautifully restored cars.

Staying in Moabit

Neighborhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighborhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city center are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighborhood in the city.
