Naturally some will say to keep this adventure for a rainy day, and that's solid advice, but I suggest you go there anyway - even on a sunny weekend! It's very original, probably the only place in the world where you could have access and guided tours in such bunkers and tunnels. And if you come with the right attitude,... More

A very different but very intersting insight into the the lives of German civilians during the second world war, something as a uk national, we dont often hear about, so was very interesting to see what things were like on the other side. Lots of very intersting artefacts that you dont often see on dispay in Germany, like Nazi soldiers... More

This tour takes place at 3.00pm from beside the Gesundbrunnen S Bahn station. It takes approx 90 minutes and should be on the must do list of anyone interested in the Second world. Even if you have no particular interest in this period you could not but be impressed by structure and the story behind it. We did this tour... More

This is my second time I have visited the berlin underworld exhibits. If you are interested in ww2 it is a must. Staff are friendly and have a great knowledge of the locations. I would visit them again.

Didn't know what to expect from the tour but had a wonderful time, saw a lot and learnt so much from the knowledgeable guide. We went on Tour 1 (90mins) although there is about 5 to choose from, visiting different areas, with various language guides and all reasonably priced. Only downside was you aren't permitted to take photos. On this... More

We had no idea what to expect but were thrilled at the experience of going underground with a great guide, Dominic, who explained in detail the escapes made by Berliners from East to west under the Berlin Wall. His stories of individual's experiences over the one and a half hours were caringly told and often moving. One of the best... More

In this visit to Berlin we took the Tour M - the stories of the people who tunneled to freedom with the raise of the Berlin Wall in 1961. The tour was amazing, interesting and the guide was very professional and has a lot of knowledge. It was stunning to find out the escape attempts of the east side citizens... More

Don't do an open top bus or a boat tour - don't simply visit some galleries with interchangeable relics from around the world. While in berlin go and see the real berlin underground - a legacy left behind after the wars (the wall is worth visiting too, obviously) with bunkers and air raid shelters and some fascinating insights into how... This was probably our favourite experience from our short stay in Berlin. We took the World War 2 bunker tour and it was amazing. This takes you down into a U-bahn station which was used as an air raid shelter during the war. We got such an incredible insight as to what life was like for the people living in... More

Excellent tour, perhaps it could be condensed to an hour (rather than an hour and a half) but nevertheless really interesting, hugely enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Recommend it if you are interested in the historical element.
