We did Tour 2 (Flak Towers) and visited the exhibition Mythos Germania on the same day. The Flak Towers tour was fascinating. Our English speaking guide Carsten was engaging, interesting, knowledgeable and answered any questions thrown at him. The tour lasted 90 minutes and we covered 3 floors. Our guide explained the relevance of the photos placed on the walls... More

Really interesting and well delivered tour. Stephanie our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and came across as someone with genuine interest in the subject matter. I would put this on the 'must do' list for Belrin.

I did the M tour yesterday, hearing a number of fascinating stories of escape from East Berlin to West. This is great for anyone with even a passing interest in history. Our tour guide Stephanie was a really good storyteller and packed a lot of fascinating information and a sprinkling of humour into a couple of hours that simply flew... More

During our recent trip to Berlin, we did 2 English-language walks with Berliner Unterwelten on the same day. The first one, in the morning, was Tour 2 (the old flak tower). Hidden away on a rubble hill in the middle of a forested park, we wouldn't even have known this flak tower existed, had we not gone on this walk.... More

The tour took us deep underground in to a network of escape tunnels and underground bunkers for German citizens in the event of a nuclear strike....that obviously never happened. What is left is the spooky network of bunkers and living areas where the citizens of Berlin would have been forced in to. It all seems like a horror movie set... More

Mythos Germania – Vision und Verbrechen This exhibition is more than unique! Berliner Unterwelten e.V. is on of the que factors in quiping the history alive by still quip "digging". This display is extremely important for the understanding of the third reich's future plans and not least their advanced plans concerning architecture. PS the large model of Germania is from... Went to see the world war II tour. We bought the tickets 1,5 hours before and went to the shopping center near the station while waiting. Due to a lot of participants there were two tours right after each other but there was no rush. Our guide was Dutch and was both funny but also had a lot of knowledge... More

In an effort to not sensationalise or glorify the Nazi Regime, we found there were not very many options for real insight into World War 2 life in terms of the museums in Berlin. However, this tour is the exception to that and is absolutely full of interesting facts and details which you would never hear otherwise. It is a... More

Excellent tour of a Berlin WWII bomb shelter. Our guide was Dutch. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name but she gave a very interesting tour - well balanced, full of information, witty and thought provoking. Everything you want from a tour. My 12 year old son really enjoyed it, too. Highly recommended. It isn't possible to pre-book these tours -... More

We chose M tour (the Wall tour) with Laura and definetely it's the guide that makes the value. She is a naturally born story teller, even if she told us things we've already knew, she did it with true passion for the subject. Worth the while and worth the price if you want to learn something
