An interesting tour of a bunker in Berlin. Built as a part of a underground station. The passing trains gives an real indication of how it might have been sitting there when the bombs was hitting the city. And also a most interesting tour by the guide who also contributed to make it a living experience.

It's a good one but you also would like to take tour 1, check the schedules beforehand because the tours starts around 10am, tours are also available in Spanish, if you come to Berlin then this is a must!

Today we visited Berliner Unterwelten. I highly recommend this tourist attraction. We first took the Tour 3. Which is the atomic fallout bunkers under Berlin from the Cold War & WWII era. You get loads of information and taken into the fallouts, infact, two fallouts are visited. One that dates way way back to WWII and one that was far... More

The tour itself is what it is : a bomb shelter. However, the guide (Stephanie) made it extremely interesting. I think the tour lacks more interesting "things to see". But Stephanie's enthusiasm and knowledge about not just the bunkers, but general history, made it worth a visit.

Our tour guide was Yvonne( sorry if it is spelt incorrectly) she was from Denmark. Her English was very good and her knowledge of the bunkers was exceptional. She is expressive and her delivery helps you visualise what the people would have experienced during the war. We did tour 1,Dark World. Check your tickets when you buy them from the... More

We did the English spoken tour 1 called "Dark Worlds" which is about the bunkers which were used during the 2nd world war. Our great tour guide was Stephanie, a social sciences student from Canada who was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic teller. The 1.5 hour tour was almost too short, we hardly had enough time to explain in-between the... More

I took two tours: Tour 1 (WWII Air Raid Shelters) and Tour M (East Berlin Tunnels) both in english. Tour 1 was riveting - well documented, well delivered, unbelievable human stories unearth, personal stories told, artifacts throughout the shelters and more. I could take this tour over and over again and never be bored-learning something new each time. Well worth... More

I can't say this is a must see in Berlin, but for a change of pace it's an interesting 90 minutes. Our guide Stephanie did a great job making it come to life. But the fact is after about an hour you realize seeing the underground bunkers the civilians hid in is just that. You get the idea. After that... More

We took this tour a few days ago and it was such a fascinating experience. We took Tour 1, Dark Worlds in English which takes you through an underground shelter people stayed in during the war. Our guide was Ivonne (hope I'm writing it right) and she was the best tour guide I've ever had. She kept everyone engaged and... More
