It was such a pretty and peaceful park. A lot of shopping and restaurants that surrounded the area. Great place to relax and wander in such a big city. Plenty of shade too.

I have to admit I probably wouldn't have gone into it if not for a morning run!!! That would have been a mistake. The garden is quite big and really beautiful. It feels like you are far from the city while being smack in the middle of it, amazing!!

Try to stroll past the statues, lily pond and deeply moving memorials. It is quite amazing to be in this beautiful garden without even sensing the fast-paced city right outside.its border

We spend the morning walking around the place. It is nice, full of people of every nationality. It was a mixture of sightseeing with small places to enjoy the nature.

We are reviewing the urban park Großer Tiergarten, which is often called "Tiergarten". Kleiner Tiergarten is a small park in the borough Moabit in the Mitte district of Berlin, on the north side of the Spree. 'Tiergarten' is referred to as the borough, also in the Mitte district of Berlin and consists for the larger part of urban park Großer... More

Grab a sandwich, a beer and enjoy the sunshine - if there is :-) I would highly recommend to make a stop there on your visit to Berlin.
