After visiting the gate, I walked into the park doing some geocaching. The park trails are very extensive and there are lots of interesting sculptures to look at. There were a lot of people getting their exercise in the park which was little bit odd since not far away were thousands of tourists at the Berlin historical areas. It was... More

It is a relaxing large park which is very close to all the attractions. It is a piece of tranquility which you can go and enjoy, and get away from the busy noise in the city. It's perfect for a picnic and theres walk paths by the side to stroll around

A place to rest, to think, to calm down… Inside the gardens the noise of the traffic is muffled by the trees, and you begin to see the world - the ephemeral world of money and politics - from a distance. The values here are eternal - life, nature, beauty and love

Knock-out, vast public space stretching for many hectares of meadow parkland and forest containing interesting vistas, statues and a real escape from the hurly burly of the city and its traffic. Colours in November sunshine are truly amazing.

We rented bikes and rode all over Tiergarten. It's really amazing with all the rivers and grassy areas. The best part is all of the bike paths. You can go all over Berlin via Tiergarten. Loved it.

The time of year was perfect for a carpet of fallen leaves with colour still on the trees. A delight for photographers.

This park is easily accessed and you can walk for hours on good paths. When we were there it was fairly uncrowded. The surroundings were very pleasant and well kept. There are plenty of benches to sit if you need a rest.
