Tiergarten is one of Berlins biggest parks. Beautiful to stroll through. The kids very much enjoyed it. There is a nice cafe and fun old fashioned Germany candy and ice cream.

Everyone in our group enjoyed our trip here! Which is quite an achievement when you have a two year old and two teenagers :) The nocturnal section and the play area were big hits.

Tiergarten is certainly worth a visit when you are in Berlin. A big park with wide lanes allow you to walk or cycle through the park on your way to a beergarten or just somewhere in the park to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. My visit to the Tiergarten was a short one, we went though it on a cycle... More

We stayed a few blocks south of the park and was a short stroll to get there. Although during World Soccer the park was sectioned off with a series of Jumbotrons. (at least 3) Still enjoyed the park despite fencing, screens & security for this event. Plan on spending an hour or two in the middle of the day relaxing... More

Huge park in which to stroll and soak up the peace and quiet away from the buzz of the city centre. Watch out for cyclists - they look as going they have never seen a pedestrian - they won't give way or move to avoid you.

A lovely park in the middle of the city. It is all quiet, you can find statues and a little animal area.

Easily accessible from all parts of Berlin the Tiergarten is huge, and makes for a great walk or bike ride. We spent a couple hours just wandering around; it's a nice oasis, and you almost forget that you're in the middle of a big city. Unlike other major parks like Hyde Park in London, or Central Park in New York,... More

The old hunting ground has a fascinating history and is a peaceful oasis. Worth spending some time in it. It houses many sculptures and memorials (not least is the Soviet War Memorial near Brandenburg Gate). The park has much to explore but can take up a lot of time...

Many cities have fantastic urban parks, but Berlin goes far beyond impressive fountains, relaxing gardens, or beautiful natural scenery. Tiergarten is more of a forest than a park, one in which you completely lose sight of the fact that you are in the midst of the German capital. I spent a full day wandering in and out of the depths... More
