Well stocked, with many interesting species in a lovely building. Like most aquariums though, I did find the entry price expensive when compared with the length of my visit.

Visited with my 5year old son - he seemed to enjoy it but was a lot more impressed by the Lego tables than the exhibits. The aquadom was enjoyable. I didn't visit the Berlin aquarium so can't compare the two. Nice gift shop though, and the staff were very pleasant.

This was very well set out. Children and adults alike will love this. The lay out is superb and there are some very unusual 'exhibits'. The tanks are clean and the variety of species is first class. The lift in the huge tank which forms the centre part of the Radisson Blu Hotel ground floor is a must. The part... More

We tought it could be a great experiance. Unfortunately the fish-tank was very small an the admission charge was quite high.

I went around in the morning and found it was not as big as some places I have been before but the displays where just as good. good sized tanks and plenty of information and things to do along the way. there is also a shark tank you walk along side and then go under it. with your ticket you... If you are into the see life its worth to go. Well presented, excited for kids and adults. I was surprise with Aquadome as I never heard about it before. And I love it. Definitely a new great experience for the collection. My 5 years old was absolutely impressed by being inside of aquarium. All see life’s around of world... More

The Aquarium is very nice and good for kids to understand the sealife. At the end the Aquadome is very impressing.

This was a bit of a surprise right in the middle of the city, in the middle of a street! What a great selection of sea life and very well laid out. The AquaDom was another first too. Watching fish swim past as you go up and down in a lift - different!

Whilst reading other reviews on here I felt a little sad, it seems to me a lot of people forget what the aim of Sea Life is, in helping to educate, protect, breed and conserve all manner of sea creatures. The money you pay to get in, whilst I agree is quite a lot, it does help not only with... More

We went with out 2 boys and it was amazing. The display of the various fish and sea creatures was very nice. The place is designed in a unique way and the elevator in interesting. The visit was relatively short and the feeding was a bit disappointing because all we saw is all the fish going to one direction. Overall... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
