We have been to a few Sea life aquriums in the UK and this was our first abroad.Unfortunately it was not as impressive, the visit seemed to be over very quickly as it didn't take that long to look around. The exhibits were ok but there didn't seem to be enough there to keep the children's interest occupied and to be honest... I don't often leave reviews but this time I felt like I had to! Do not waste your time going to the AquaDom. The sea-life aquarium was small and uninteresting (in comparison to the aquarium at the Zoo - it was amazing!). The Dom was not impressive at all, it was hot and crowded inside the lift. The fish was... More

We were very excited to see the AquaDom and were quickly disappointed. You have to pay to go through the Sea Life aquarium (17 euro per person) to be able to ride the elevator through the AquaDom. It took us all of about 15 minutes to walk through the Sea Life exhibits. Its nice that they are devoting time and... More

This is the poorest Sea Life we have ever been to. Very small not much there. Took us only a few mins to get round. The aqua dome was good but it was a waste of money.

I would have given a higher review if the place had sharks and Turtles like it said they were!!! Even the video at the beginning of the attraction said there would be turtles. The aqua dome was fantastic the first time around, the woman doing it even offered an English translation, the second time this was not the case!! Would... More

We payed the regular price and as we went out we all thought it was too expensive for what we got. The place is good cause it is in the center and it's very kind built. It's worth it when you ok with the price.

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
