Whilst reading other reviews on here I felt a little sad, it seems to me a lot of people forget what the aim of Sea Life is, in helping to educate, protect, breed and conserve all manner of sea creatures. The money you pay to get in, whilst I agree is quite a lot, it does help not only with... More

We went with out 2 boys and it was amazing. The display of the various fish and sea creatures was very nice. The place is designed in a unique way and the elevator in interesting. The visit was relatively short and the feeding was a bit disappointing because all we saw is all the fish going to one direction. Overall... More

The place is nice, captivating for kids but not completely. The elevator experience inside the aqua dome is interesting. It's not out of the ordinary, i've seen better, but they also have interesting things.

Highly overrated. The acquarium itself it's really nothing special. The acquadom it's impressive but it's all about the elevator. Finally it's not cheap...

Dear emafun, Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit but we are also happy that you did like the AquDom. The price is the result of the regular costs of the aquarium and our different conservation projects. We cannot lower this price but we have several special offer and reduced... More

While this isn't one of the largest Sea life centres it's well laid out. It took a while to get in & we were there off season, so I imagine summer visits would be better with a VIP entry pass. Great to walk round if you have children! The Aqua Dom was a unique experience, but a bit crowded. Overall... More

I had a combined ticket for Sea Life & The Berlin Dungeon for €28 each which was the most expensive tourist thing we did in Berlin. It was nicely laid out but very small and they didn't have any larger sea creatures. They flyer shows a shark but we didn't see one anywhere! Good for small children.

Dear Marian R Thank you very much for your message and your feedback. We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit. We do have sharks but due to the size of our tank and the wellbeing of our creatures they are maximum 1,60m. You can spot them in our ocean tank. We are looking forward to receive... More

Pretty expensive for such small place. If you are just with grown ups and have visited other "seaworld"s, skip it. But if you have children, it is worth the visit, they got very excited with fishing sea shells from a tank and seeing starfish and the rays. No big sharks, though. The ride in the Aquadom elevator was the upside:... More

Dear 777_Carla, thank you for your honest feedback. We as SEA LIFE do not compeed with Seaworld and of course can not be compared with them. We display over 5.000 animals in about 35 tanks and are focused on local and regional fishes. We direct to families with children and try to educate about our breed, rescue and protect projects.... We have been to a few Sea life aquriums in the UK and this was our first abroad.Unfortunately it was not as impressive, the visit seemed to be over very quickly as it didn't take that long to look around. The exhibits were ok but there didn't seem to be enough there to keep the children's interest occupied and to be honest... Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
