This is a large chocolate shop that sells a wide range of Ritter Sport chocolate.

It also allows you to have them make a customised chocolate bar - choose white, milk or dark chocolate, plus add three ingredients. Be prepared to wait for 45 min as the chocolate needs to be hardened - so we used the time to go shopping at the Galleries Lafayette next door!

Waste of time and money. Waiting more than one and a half hour for a poor chocolate bar. Sure the kids loved to design their own health bomb but the service and the price were not acceptable. Afterwards, even the kids lost interest and wanted to go elsewhere. Too bad we all ready paid.

The shop was full which was to be expected and had great offers. The chocolate bar you get to decorate looks just like the originals. The cafe has AMAZING food but the staff is a bit hectic and forgot to bring me my drink before we payed.

A chocolate store that for obvious reasons is more commercial than Rausch (and they are not that far away from each other), but the Ritter guys know how to make terrific chocolate. A variety of flavors to choose from, they even sell an assortment of chocolate by the pound (to be more precise, 2 Kilos for about 16 Euros as far as I recall).
The kids enjoyed creating their own chocolate. Since there's a queue for this activity, start there - get your ticket - and then advance to the store.

It was ok to make your chocolate, but was disappointed of the boring staff. Not Kids friendly and boring. The staff seemed annoyed of Kids taking to long to make a decision on which flavours. Could just as well be a machine standing there. 2 stars for the many rittersport choices.

Really enoyed our 30 mins in the shop, enjoying a cappuccino and me chocolate. Lots of choice, things to do on 2 floors and a nice toilet to boot. Well worth popping in, if in the area. Even ha a free chocolate fountain to try :) Looked like a kids section and things to book as mini experiences as well.

The shop is much the same as any other chocolate shop, delicious smelling and full of chocolate but apart from that simply a shop. The exciting thing is that you can create your own chocolate by choosing which ingredients you would like mixed wit your chocolate! Return in 30minutes and hey presto your own flavored chocolate! For 3.90/100g it's a novel way to consume chocolate. The store atthe back also has some good deals if you don't have the time to wait around for your own favour!
If you have the Berlin welcome card you will receive a discount at the cafe.

The Ritter family really knows their chocolate. You can´t leave from Berlin without visiting this flag store in Franzosische Strasse 24. It is in the middle of the town anyway!

From the first floor you can find a café and a small museum for the children. On the ground floor there is a cheap chocolate shop with all of the famous flavors you ever wanted but, more likely, you want to head right from the door to the chococreation section. There you can choose your favorite flavors mixed with Ritter Sport chocolate. Return in 30 minutes or so of shopping and you have your own fresh Ritter Sport chocolate waiting for you in the nice little box.

Tip:
If you come with children or teenagers you could have a nice experience in the chochoworkshop. There they learn everything about the cacao beans and chocolate while selecting their own favorite choices of chocolate and even designing the boxes by themselves.

When you are in Germany, do as the Germans - try German chocolate. I found this museum/chocolate store by chance in our guide book that we got when we bought our Berlin Welcome Cards and we decided to go there.

The store was easy to find on Französische Strasse. It was also bigger than I expected. Of course they sell chocolate, but you are not forced to buy anything if you don't want to, you can go watch the chocolate museum on the 1 st floor for free if you like. The museum is not very big, but it tells you about the plants that gives us cacao and how chocolate is made. You can also watch a film about how it's made. Unfortunately I had a terrible headache when we visited the store so we didn't visit the museum for very long.

There are also a café on the 1st floor if you feel a bit hungry. And on the entrance floor you can make your own chocolate. I would really have liked to do that, but it takes half an hour, and as said before, I had a terrible headache and could not wait that long.

Anyhow, for all chocolate lovers this is paradise, I can really recommend a visit here.

You will be able to find any type of Ritter Sport bar and if there are not any to your liking you can create your own. Well worth the visit if you love Ritter Sport. I would also highly recommend the cafe and enjoy the chocolate fondue
