Our tour guide, Rachel, was extremely knowledgeable about Berlin and it's history. She had a very friendly manner, was easy to understand and sprinkled the historical information with humour and interesting stories. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was our first trip to Berlin (and to Germany) and we wanted to learn as much as we could about the Jewish experience, past and present, in the city. Jeremy gave us an outstanding tour that not only was informative but helped us deal with all the emotional baggage that have been carrying for decades. Jeremy is so knowledgeable,... More

Spent 6 days in Berlin and Jeremy's Jewish walking tour was definitely an outstanding highlight. He was particularly engaging and passionate in relating the history of the Jews in Berlin and took us to see many sites in the 1 day, explaining the significance of each site. It was an emotional experience for us, especially the visit to Track 17... More

Our tour with Jeremy Minsberg was outstanding. He navigated us through Berlin to see many significant places. Jeremy has an indepth understanding of the Jewish experience in Germany and the ability to convey this information in a truly meaningful manner. Jeremy's excellent tour gave us the opportunity to better understand German Jewish history.

If you need a guide in Berlin, I can highly recommend Jeremy Minsberg He provides custom tours and will create an itinerary for you that will meet your needs exactly. He has incredible depth of knowledge of Germany, its culture and history. More importantly, he has outstanding skills in passing that knowledge on to his clients. We were with Jeremy... More

All the reviews are spot on. We are 4 adults who travel together and frequently use private guides. I have to say that Jeremy is one of the best we have had. His tour provided us a real glimpse into Berlin and its history. Some of the places we visited were difficult emotionally... his stories added such depth to the... More

Jeremy is everything the other reviewers have said. However what makes him special is how he handled our tour on the day when our cruise ship changed ports. Early in the day prior, even before the ship informed us, he was hard at work making arrangements to get us to Berlin, even though the drive would be an hour longer than... More

TripAdvisor never lets us down! Your users recommended Jeremy's tour and we were disappointed that he was booked, but he emailed back right away with another guide recommendation. Sion was outstanding! He helped us plan the tour we wanted ahead of time-hitting history and city highlights that captivated adults and teenagers alike. We toured from 10am-3pm and could have gone... Jeremy's full day - 5 hours - tour was on our first day in Berlin, so we had no real feel for the city, itself. But, while the focus of our tour was on sites of interest to Jews, it did help orient us to the city somewhat We especially liked the full, non-stop commentaries that were right on topic... More

Took the 3rd Reich walking tour with Taylor and 10/10 would take it again with him. Informative, funny, and witty, he made the tour a treat. The 4 hours flew by and left me wishing for a part 2!

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighborhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighborhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
