First off, tour guide Kristina was really smashing. She had a wonderful sense of humour and gave us a really personalised view of Berlin. As for the segways - just the best fun ever. Very quick to get the hang of. Will now do segway tours wherever possible! Last time we were in Berlin we did Fat Tire's bike tour... More

My girlfriend and I did our first Segway tour and it was one of the best things we have done. Thoroughly enjoyable, one of the best ways to see Berlin. Some would argue a little pricey but its worth every penny. Our tour guide Tobi, was funny, knowledgeable and all round brilliant. 10/10 Experience and they are easy to ride... More

Was given the Segway tour (as well as a fantastic Berlin trip) as a gift for my birthday. I originally felt a little hesitant about partaking since the tour involved taking to the city's busy roads but I could not have been more wrong! Our tour guide Tobi was very patient and made sure we were all comfortable on the... More

Our guide Walid was awesome :) we saw Berlim in 2 hours and a half, and all the important touristic points. Normally when we are working we do not have time to see the city properly. The segway tour is a quick way to overview the city, and was just perfect :)

Walid and the SEG2GO team made my entire group of 7 feel extremely safe and comfortable!! With a wide range of rider experience on the Segway, Walid made sure everyone was on pace to be able to ride on the roads of Berlin. He even allowed us to switch up the tour to be their new East Gallery Tour!! Even... More

Just finished tour with Walid, best looking bloke in Berlin (he didn't tell me to say this :-).) and very knowledgeable. I did tour with my father (63 years old.) handled it pretty easily after some practice and guidance from Walid. Extremely happy with the tour.

Just finished a tour with Walid, and really enjoyed it. The Segway element to it makes it fun to travel around the city - doesn't take long to get the hang of it, and they're really cool. The tour was made so much more enjoyable by his sense of humour which cracked us all up a lot. It's not cheap.... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Segway tour of Berlin. We had a great guide (Tom) and a small but fun group (six riders + guide). Quite affordable as well.

Perfect way to see the sites and learn about the City, whilst having a lot of fun! Highy recommend the tour over and above any other, simply because the segway enables you to cover a large part of the city and doesn't tire you out. Wallid was great value, he made the tour informative, fun and very enjoyable. The three... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighborhood Profile
Mitte
The center of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighborhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
