The Marktplatz is a cool place to sit in a café and watch people go by. More

Great setting. The buildings around the market place have beautiful Baroque facades and are quite charming. A good place to wander through the stalls or to sit at a cafe and watch people. It si particularly worth a visit in the warmer months when the cafes have outdoor seating. More

Cold December day. We had gluvein(sp?) and a bratwurst sandwich in the square. One of my favorite meals! More

The buildings are of unique german architecture. The sqaure is very pretty with stalls and very nice small cafes and pubs around it. The food stalls provide amazing crepes, sausages or candies. overall its a fun place to be at. More

There is seating in the center of the square for those who want to watch the world go by or listen to a performer ( we had an opera singer). It's a nice rest area after walking to the Residence and trying to decide what charming spot to view next. More

This is a very busy market square. There are students everywhere which gives it a lively feel. You'd better watch out for bicycles though, as they whiz by you everywhere. People are friendly and helpful, which is great if you get lost, like we did. More

The spatial layout of this area is really appealing. The stone paving & the various buildings in nicely balanced but not strictly squared off gives a nice liveliness to the place & then invites you down little winding shopping streets. More
