We went to juliusspital twice. The first time was around 8:00pm. We had hiked the entire town and were looking for a place to enjoy something light. Out waiter was wonderful. Our waiter was able to translate some of the menu for us. We had some Silvaner with a cheese plate. Great time.
We wnt back on New Years eve....

Prince-Bishop Julius von Mespelbrunn founded the hospital named after him. Of the 1576 Renaissance building (architect G Robin), on the soil of the Jewish cemetery, remained just the foundation relief of the old main portal, present hanging in the passage of the garden to the courtyard. After the bombattack in 1945 the main building collapsed completely, reconstruction lasted until 1953....
