This museum is beautiful! The history of Christmas was awesome to read about (English, German, and Japanese maybe?). My friend had her kids with her and they loved it. The favorite room was the room of all the different Santa Clauses!

It`s a fantastic store of christmas itens with a "museum" name on it. Most of the itens are for sale, some unique but most of all very nice.

The museum is located inside one of the Kathe Wolfhart Christmas stores. You have to pay to enter. After seeing the packed decorations of the shop, the museum seems a bit bland. It has various displays of tree decorations and ornaments from the past, as well as some info about "St. Nicholas' companion" who scolded and punished naughty children. The... More

Nice museum, has a number of old Christmas ornaments, toys and decorations. Worth the price of admission if you are truly interested in some of the older Christmas traditions. Even more interesting is the attached store, which is free. Kathe started out after WWII as a small business, selling Cuckoo clocks to American servicemen. The demand was so high the... More

This is one of the most beautiful Christmas shops I have ever seen! From the outside it looks small, but the inside is just magical. You will walk through various floor of all kinds of Christmas decorations. Ranging from glass, wood, felt and straw! A must see!

Really just some exhibits within a huge store. Not worth the price of admission. Which should be free. That said you're going to go because of your curiosity. So as long as your expectations are low you'll be fine.

Awesome and informative! Super historical timeline of Christmas traditions! This was my wife's favorite thing we did in Rothenburg. Recommended! Go!
