We were expecting a "come on" in the middle of Kathe Wohlfahrt's huge Christmas store, but we were pleasantly surprised to find it non-commercial, well curated, and educational. We have a new appreciation of Christmas decorations for having visited.

It all started in Germany, but here we get to see some of the oldest decorations, somewhat reminiscent of our own childhood if you're over 50.

Really enjoyable market with some interesting stalls. A good indoor craft part. Good public toilets for a small charge. Good food and gluhwein.

We enjoyed the visit very much. You can see in this museum how Christmas decoration used to look in the old days, The museum store is huge(!!) and has everything you will ever need for Christmas and the best is that you can buy globes with inscription done specially for you and it's a great souvenir. Highly recommended !

We had a nice time. Easy to get around. Plenty of booths for food and drinks. Very Nice people. At night the Christmas lights and sounds/smells are very pleasant.

The Christmas Museum had the most wonderful displays and the history of Christmas unfolded before your eyes. You could have easily bought half the shop from very helpful assistants but warning, this is not for a person on a budget.

4E entry for nice, not thrilling ,Christmas decor history since 1800's. The end of the tour drops you in the Kathe Wohlfart ww hq and is a great store at full retail pricing. That said-great fun for any holiday decorating buff
