If it wasn't for the crowd, coming from all parts of Europe, my judgment would have may be been better. As a matter of fact, it is hard to enjoy the old town of Rothenburg in the high season. I will try to come back in a better period...

This town looks like it is straight from a fairy tale. Charm in every corner, very walkable and friendly people. Perfect for a day or possibly weekend trip. I'm glad I went in the off-season, as I can only imagine the tourist crowds in the summer. Still would recommend highly to check out.

From 1871 onwards, a small Jewish community settled in Rothenburg once again. The expulsion of this group in 1938 was a black day in the history of the town, which was glorified by the Third Reich as a perfect example of German culture from 1933 onwards. Another black day came in the shape of an American air raid during the... More

A beautiful medieval town with lots of interesting places to see. Wonderful for just strolling around and visiting the historic buildings. The Christmas museum and store on Herrngasse, near the town hall, means its Christmas all year round. Teddy Land (also in Herrngasse) is a wonderful place.

Literally, every corner, every street was so pretty that didn't seem real. I cannot believe such a pretty place do exist, felt like living in a Disney Dream or something. Just amazing.

This picturesque little town is a must see in Bavaria. Thankfully, we arrived early in the season so there was not a lot of tourist traffic at any time. I relieve memories daily through our pictures in Rothenburg.

The old town is charming and we had a blast exploring the streets. The walled city is full of character and worth spending time to explore.

One of the most romantic and poetic little towns I have ever visited. Everything is original, from shops to restaurants.

We stayed two days in the town. If you like shopping, you will enjoy walking along the main street though the products offered are pretty similar. We enjoyed the morning walk along the wall and explored various parts of the town. We would like to come back again in summer time.
