Definitely a museum worth visiting. Gave us a fascinating insight into medieval German culture, where a single accusation could have serious consequences. Very interesting to learn how much focus was put on religion in German society in the past. More

Much more academic than say, The London Dungeon. The museum is very good about showing the history of human's inhumanity towards one another. A good blend of instruments of punishment as well as article and books accounting for treatment of prisoners over a large time period. It was more educational than entertaining and considering the subject matter that is good. More
