Indeed this is the last surviving craftsman's house from the era, and it is worth a look as you pass by while walking the walls, BUT I can't say it is worth going out of your way to see it, particularly if you have limited time. On the city guide it said it was worth seeing so we crossed the whole town just to see it. We really didn't get it. Beautiful building and symmetry. I loved everything about it. Picture perfect. I want to live in it. A great photo can be taken from the city wall and it is worth a look. Near the Tower. We walked down to the bridge just to see what it was, well worth the walk. I do not. Understand why it was built that way but still worth the look.

This building is on virtually all Rothenburg postcards and is lovely to look at. It can be found near the Town Tower that is close to the main car parks. Very photographic.
