A great stop for photos and to admire the amazing structure that is still in use after all these years. Nice spot for a picnic.

It's a film star, sure it's showing it's age a bit but well worth a stroll to it if you have the time and you can view Rothenburg from outside the walls that you will have walked. We took a picnic down on a nice day, it was nice to get away from the crowds, chill, recharge the batteries and... More

There are different views onto this town, I like this one best as it is away from the main tourist bang. It gives a perfect view on what historical the special location of Rothenburg makes different. The bridge itself is not that useable. You can walk over. The second floor what makes the difference is not used. Coming from the... More

Can be driven to or walked to fairly easily from Rothenburg or the Tauber valley. Gives impressive views back to Rothenburg, especially Burg Garden and vineyard. Well worth the effort.

This was a little creepy but a fascinating insight to the concept of law and order in a different age. Many judicial systems (Civic, religious, regional) vying with each other to inflict the most cruel punishments.

This bridge for some people may just be another old bridge, maybe worth a look when visiting the fantastic old town of rothernburg. But for me a child born in the sixties it's been a life long dream to go to rothernburg and see the town that was used in 1960's when chitty chitty bang bang was filmed and this... More

As part of the original castle wall area worth the short walk to take photos and while doing so survey the walls if you have time with so much to see in this beautiful town

This is a shot walk out of town but worth the effort. Everything about this marvelous little town should be made a national treasure of Germany.
