Stopped in Fussen on our way to the King's Castles. This is a cute little town right outside of the castles and is definitely worth taking the time to stop and walk around for an hour or so. There is a beautiful cemetery right outside the monastery. A cute river walk and Fussen does have a castle with a cool... More

The atmosphere of this little town and it's beautifully colored river is fantastic. It's only a 5" bus ride to Ludwig's castle and it doesn't have all the touristy kitsch.

Basically the whole area only has one or two walking street, so one hour is enough for shopping. Shops will be closing around 6:00pm so you can only come here during day time. The paintings on the building walls are beautiful and worth to take a look.

Simply the worse service ever. Arrogant waiter and mediocre food. Keep out. Some similar restaurants in the old city but we did not try them.

The artwork on many (if not most) of the buildings is worth seeing. The creek running through the center of town adds a great charm.

Visited over a Medievil Weekend Festival the town was packed and masses of entertainment. The Old Town is fascinating with plenty to see and do for everyone.

We had some time to spare before getting the train back to Munich and we ventured for a while on the streets of Fuessen and it was a great experience. It was lively for a Sunday afternoon with a small concert and food display on the square and we didn't have much time but it depicted well what I had... More
