cute fun town

quirky shops, cute town/ Out side the old city we enjoyed taking a dip in the lake and having a fun round at the nearby mini golf!

Like most medieval cities of Bavaria - this Old Town is great. It provides quite a bit of perspective from what one is used to. And everything is neat and tidy.

I fell in love with this area. The restaurants, the food, the architecture, the shops and of course the amazing castes. I would go back again and again. Must do holiday.

Good stores and restaurants, but Fussen is the most touristy place we went in Germany. The street musicians were fun.

There is a lot to do and see in the Altstadt von Fuessen; shopping of all kinds, restaurants, historical buildings, and entertainment. Enjoy the castles, but save some time to stroll around in the old town.

Lovely old town lots of shop and places to eat. Close to the castles in the area and only a short drive to the Austrian Tyrol

The Altstadt is very quaint with sidewalk cafes, gift shops and "real" stores. Prices are reasonable and there are plenty of locals along with the tourists.

Nice restaurants, houses and views. Also nice atmostphere regardless of plenty of tourists. Both real stores and souvenier shops.

Small but very well-maintained with lots of little streets to explore and artisan-type shops, churches, castles, etc. to visit. Absolutely packed with tourists of course.
