Great History of the bridge. The Sausage Restaurant at one end is very historic and a must try. Also, the Italian Restaurant immediately on the other side of the bridge (Stadthamhof) has excellent pizza! More

This is a picture perfect location. In fact many people enjoy photographing here. I for one video-recorded the bridge back and forth. More

When you think of how this bridge has traversed the Danube for over 1,000 years, it's an amazing accomplishment. Also, an aesthetically pleasing bridge as well. Be sure to walk along it but also to head over to nearby Historiche Wurstkuchl along the banks for additional views while munching on local sausages. More

Fascinating to think about how much history that bridge has seen, and still used today. More

I like Old Stone Bridge which is about 1000 year old and Cathedral of St. Peter. But city is rather small. Like any old city with Cathedral and Old town hall, Regesburg has little culture and character except Old Stone Bridge. More

Classic landmark over the Danube (Donau) River. Fun to walk over. Gives great view of the old city and cathedral. After walking over toward the city, turn left and stop at the charming, intimate Historische Wursthaus (oldest wursthaus in the city) and have some bratwurst and saurkraut. More
