Floor after floor of beautiful glass created thru the centuries. It is overwhelming. Don't try to see everything. Just enjoy what catches your eye!

Even if you don't love glass, this museum is a must see. There is one owner of the collection which boggles the mind after you see how immense it is. I never stopped saying OMG!!! Loved this place. The cost is 7€ per person! and they don't take cards. There are plenty of chairs if someone in your party needs... More

Even after reading the reviews online, I was overwhelmed by the collection - room after room, all beautifully displayed and such a variety. Be sure to take in the building itself as well, especially the ceilings. The museum is located inside the Hotel Wilder Mann (reception sells you the entry ticket and you take the elevator to the collection). The Hotel... More

This museum is impressive. Thousands of pieces. The curators have done a beautiful job on the displays and use of the building. It would have been nice to have more information in English.

We enjoyed the Glass Museum but stayed too long. Unless you are really a glass scholar, you might want to choose one time period or one section and focus there. Some, but not all, of the information is translated into English. The building itself is remarkable - it's easy to get lost going through all the little nooks; it's very... More

A visit to the glass museum is a good stop. The huge collection of glassware itself is an historic journey into the monarchs of Germany and Austria and quite interesting. It is not a good visit for children however, as it can get a little boring even for adults walking the numerous galleries and floors of the museum.

My husband was certainly less fascinated than me, but with 7 floors of glassware through the ages, I thought it was wonderful and loved seeing the different colors and styles. I forget the exact price to enter, 4 or 5 Euros, and even though we kind of hurried through, I felt it was worth it.
