Excellent museum..... give yourself plenty of time to go through it. We spent 4 hours and it was not enough time. If you are interested in the history of Adolf Hitler and the rise of the Nazi Party, you will want to visit this museum. Well worth the price of admission. more

I found this museum so interesting that i spent nearly 4 hours going round it.Certainly the best documentation centre that i have visited in Germany. Also it is close to the Nazi rally ground, which is a very chilling place. more

The Nazi party rally grounds were just that. A place to rally the faithful in the support for Adolph (S)Hitler. A tour for everyone interested in the rise of Hitler, or how a small nut grew into such a big nut. more

I would say this is a must-see in Nuremberg. Very modern, very well-put together museum. You get a handset that you put to your ear, so listening in English was a non-issue. You walk through rooms, each with pictures/displays, and you input the number on the display into your handset to hear the story. It is rather large, so if... more

In comparison with the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C., this museum lacks a little luster. Although significant with accurate history and the like, it is just that. One, long, drawn out, history lesson. If that's your thing, then you'll love it, but I preferred the much more hands on/visual effects of the museum in D.C. If you're in Nürnburg,... more

Unlike most sites in Germany which seem to shy away from discussing the time around WWII, the Documentation Museum provides a very through and thoughtful presentation of the facts. It was probably the most memorable part of my trip. There are very few “artifacts” in the museum, rather, the story of the rise and fall of the Nazi party and... more

This was one of the better War museums that we have been to. It was very well documented with an execellent amount of information and knowledge. The audio guide was very informative with additional information. As well as the documentation museum, there is a self guided walk around the parade grounds which takes about 1.5 hours. We did it in... more

We focused our visit on the Nazi Documentation Center which is located on the Rally Grands. This excellent museum tries to explain the history, motivation, and methods that allowed Hitler and the Nazis to get into power and push through his horrific plans. It goes from the end of WWI all the way up to the Nuremberg trials. In fact,... more

I am about to return to Nuremberg this fall after a three year gap and my top reason is the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. My son (then 15) and I spend a day here on our last trip to Germany and it has profoundly affected us ever since. It was our most memorable stop on that trip. I've read the... more
