I am not a paintings fun, but this museum is small and it is interesting as it contains materila from the personal life of Durer, not only his paintings

A cultural and historical must in Nuremberg. It gives you a great impression about the life at the time. Take the audio guide and the wife of Albrecht Dürer will guide you through the exhibition, including several nice anecdotes.

The building is a great example of old medieval Germanic architecture. Great stopping point for art lovers and admirers of Renaissance artist Albrecht Durer, at least to take a picture in front of it. Inside you will find reconstructed objects after the ones that were used in the houses from the Durer's period and all of them reflect a certain... More

I enjoyed the audio tour, told by Albrecht Durer's "wife." (Audio tour is included in the price, which was 5 euros for one adult when I went.) The items in the museum are interesting and neat to look at, however most all of the items are not authentic, which somewhat detracts from the experience. Still, there are some cool items... More

Though showing few of Durer's original works, those who marvel at his artistry (and I include myself in that group) should take some time to visit this attraction. The workshop itself is worth the visit, and there was a good tour in English (check times) that gave a very good background and context to the visit.

Told by the 'ghost' of albrect durers wife, the house and the time is brought to life. The studio is the best space. A few more artifacts would have helped truly bring it to life.

I was disappointed. The only original element inside is the medieval stone sink! The rest are touch screens (nothing one cannot find through a simple google search), a bit of reconstruction of painting substances and printing press. Nothing more than two books in German at the shop. In my opinion, one can safely skip visiting this museum!

The house of this famous graphic artist and painter (1471-1528) worth to be visited because it is preserved and has a great collection of parts and tools that allow us to know a little more about his life and work . There is a touch panel that allows you to access a lot of information about their works . Recommend!

I've actually seen this several times, each time in the company of someone different. It is interesting but not exactly a top destimation. If you're looking for works by Duerer, for example, you will be sorely disappointed. The house benefits from its association with the great artist and is focused on him, but it's more interesting as a depiction of... More
