great half day out. Take the number 8 tram from the town centre to Tafelwerk - about 10 minutes, and go back in time. Located in an original building. Main displays include motor bikes, cars, production machines, printing and electrical plus recreations of 'old nurnberg' - schoolroom, dentist, cinema, shop. see how things used to be. Very helpful staff. Many... More

This museum lacks the hands-on experiences and the interactivity that most of the museums of this type have. There are some exhibits for the visitors to interact with, but most of them didn't function when we visited the museum. It has an nice collection of motorcycles and an interesting representation of an old classroom and a dental office. It is... More

We went on a Sunday morning, it was great. Tons to see and a pretty cool reproduction of areas in NBerg - we do however wish the kids area was a little larger.

This is a pristine museum full of very interesting items: nearly all of them not-behind-glass. Yes, lots of machines and motors, but still more than enough displays to also charm the non-mechanically minded. Amazing insights into history of schools/education: enough to pursuade my teens that school today is not so bad after all. Fantastically helpful and well informed staff, who... More

I love car museums. So after doing the sights of Nuremberg. The Industrial Culture & School museum had some interesting cars on exhibit. On the outskirts of Nuremberg, no problem with my Nuremberg Card which gives you travel and Free entry to most of Nuremberg's attractions. The Tram line 8 to Tafelhalle was an interesting ride through the suburbs. The... More

I was very surprised by this museum. I expected it to be very industrial and about mechanical things (which IS the primary theme) but found it to be a much more expansive story of Nurnbergs history and that of industrial history as well. The museum covers School/Education in one portion, Bikes and motorcycles in another and then a much broader... More

This museum is a collection of industrial achievements in the Nurenberg area. There are many motobike because of the Zündapp-Werke in Nurenmberg. There are also many other attraction like steam machines etc.
