Very Nice Garden

This is in the south of the English Garden and has lots of flowers and a restaurant. It's a nice place to take pictures and enjoy some beautiful views.

Nice location and offers a pleasant atmosphere among the flowers and plants. Certainly better done than the one in Amsterdam and more in line with what one finds in Florid USA.

We arrived at 10:00 am for our visit to the garden. The senior admission was only 3 Euros and that is a bargain. This is one of the most beautiful gardens we have ever visited in Europe (and we have seen most of them). The spring flowers were in bloom and we could not stop taking pictures of the trees... More

This Garden is magnificent in the warm months of the year and in winter you can take a short trip to a tropical atmosphere and watch the Butterflies flying around.

We made two separate visits to this wonderful Botanic Gardens during our short weekend in Munich. It involves a short tram ride (tram 17) from the Hauptbahnhof or Sendlinger Tor (direction NW). At present the tulip show was quite incredible but the rest of the garden did not disappoint with clearly named plants organised in wonderful collections. Rhododendrons and the... More

Just took a long walk through on a Sunday afternoon. Several musicians busking and they were GOOD. Again, they are an easy walk from the ciy centre and were on the way back from the English gardens, so a good place to walk off tha beer.

Had a great Sunday visit especially since there is no shopping on Sundays in Germany. Everything is in bloom- what an assortment of plants. The place was very well kept. The Cafe was very good- prompt service and decent selection. Highly recommended, will definitely visit again.

The gardens comprise of a mixture of open planting and special planting areas. The victorian greenhouses are particularly wonderful with a fantastic snapshot of desert and tropical fauna. The tropical greenhouses are particularly well planted with fish, turtles and giant caterpillars to set the scene. We just missed the best of the huge alpine planting last year and were a... More

This is a place that draws me back every time I visit. A large castle with beautiful gardens that you can wonder round. the hot houses are the best bit for me - the dry cacti and the tropical areas are fascinating There is also a great cafe on the premises The place even keeps kids engaged - a lovely... Very disappointed as today this garden was closed! After gathering all our information and making our way there to find the place closed. We had checked the dates on the brochure and Trip Adviser before taking the tram. We arrived to shut gates even though the sign at the entrance 'states' the garden should be open.
