If you're a plant person, this is a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The greenhouses are quite nice, but make sure you walk around. I especially loved the Alpine Garden and the pond area.

My wife is into the plant seen. She thinks it is 5 stars, so thus the rating. I am not such an enthusiest but still thought pretty cool. Think worth the 5euro entry

Near Nymphenburg Palace, the botanical gardens have a beautiful arrangement of flowers in the main area bursting with colors. As a result, you do need to be careful of the many bees flying to and fro. On one side there's a wonderful green area along some water with lots of trees with some benches providing a nice quite place to... More

Beautifully planted borders, quite vivid colour combinations which I could not envisage in my own garden but they really worked in this situation with really bright sunshine. The planting reminded me more of the grounds of a stately home rather than a botanical garden, especially as there were also vegetable beds. Their wildflower meadow was the best I have ever... More

A lovely place for a walk and the flowers are beautiful to photograph. It is also close to the Nymphemburg palace, which makes a nice bonus visit.

If you like to stroll through flourishing, well-groomed plants, this is your place. Don't miss the greenhouse.

Talk about being so much more than I ever expected! I figured I would spend an hour or two here and take pictures. I had no idea there were so many greenhouses to visit, or things to see. This is one of the best botanical gardens I have ever visited! Not only are there beautiful gardens, but there are vegetable... More

We spent around one hour walking around and found nothing exciting. Everything was green and calm. The kids got bored fast specially my 3 years old daughter. We paid 3 euro for children and 5 euro for adults. Had lunch at the garden cafe which was very expensive with average food.

It was pouring with rain when I was there but the gardens were still very interesting and you could get into the relative dry of the large palm house with its different types of plant in separate houses - look of r the water lilies!
