A very nice collection of different types of plants and flowers. An excellent display which is maintained properly to preserve the flora and fauna. Very nice place to spend time in the greenery

great for a warm weather afternoon. Lots of place for picnics and biking. Wonderful beer garden and small cafes on edge. also watch the river surfers who are there every day!

I had a great time seeing all these plants from all over the world. The atmosphere was great. The lack of English description was the only thing I regret.

To get there from Hauptbahnhof you need to take a tram line number 17 towards Amalienburgstrasse. Get off on the Botanischer Garten stop. Cross the road and walk 30-50 metres and you will see gates. Pass the gates and Walk straight on further 20 metres and you will see a small building where greenhouses are. There is a entrance fee... More

Lovely gardens and particularly interesting Greenhouse Complex consisting of a dozen different rooms? containing various related plants including orchids, cycads, aquatics, ferns etc. Great to wander in the gardens and can exit through the South Gate into the grounds of the Nymphenburg Palace.

The gardens are very nice, a little past their prime at the end of July when I was there. Many unusual plants, especially in the traditional garden at the back of the grounds, where the plants are grown by family. The best part is the greenhouses, where plants (and fish) are displayed in many connected buildings - Spectacular! Look for... More

Really nice place. Only you should take at least 3 hours to see everything. We didn´t have much time to spend there and i would really love to come again, but this time in spring, I bet it is much better in that time of year, although I really liked it anyway.

We spent a morning here enjoying the hothouses and all of the gardens. It is a lovely spot to spend hours wandering.
