The Botanical Garden is a nice place to visit. One of the great sights are the beautiful tropical butterflies, which can be seen from January to March. The Botanical Garden houses a nice coffee and is located right next to Nymphenburg Castle.

Walking through the HUGE outdoor gardens with fascinating trees and bushes from all over the world, you can hear your lungs screaming: THANK YOU FOR ALL THIS OXYGEN! Then you can smell about a million... More

My girlfriend and I visited the botanical gardens in December to find it full of tramps at 11.00am, including one urinating on a bush. Not quite what we expected, although there was a wide variety of tramps to look at.

When we were there in the begining of December, the cafe was closed due to some kind construction work, and it was too cold to really enjoy the outdoor part, so we could only visit the green house part and left for lunch somewhere else. It's a pity. :-(

There was a wide display of flowers in different garden settings. The Greenhouse was also a delightful place to visit. The colors during July were dazzling.

This garden is situated near Nymphenburg Palace with nice landscaping. One can ideally spent lazy evening in and around the garden and palace. Ideal place for jogging and walking.
