It was a lot smaller than we thought it would be and didn't appear to be very well maintained. There was a lot of litter and broken bottles lying around. The restaurant was quite good.

We visited the gardens during our late-season visit to Oktoberfest, but even in the fall the gardens were amazing. Of course the different greenhouse environs were protected and as impressive as always. We will come back in the summer so that we can see it in all of its peak glory.

There are plants and trees, flowers from all over the world, with extensive greenhouses, rose gardens, ponds, walkways, even forest like parks, lakes and an outdoor/indoor cafe, which is lovely, cafeteria style. We adored the many flower beds and multitudes of colorful flowers still in full bloom in mid- September. This is one the best Botanical Gardens I have ever... More

Beautiful beautiful old old magnolias, when they are fully in bloom until the just starting to shed stage, they are impressive! The variety of spring bulbs is amazing too. The Munich Botanical Garden is near the Nymphenburg Palace, but from that parking lot quite a walk. Take the MVV combi card, it apparently has a discount for the Garden too.... More

It's amazing and colourful! You can see plants from every part of the world! Keep attention to the way you are dressed because inside the room with the plants the temperature is really high!

This is hidden away near the Nymphenburg Palace. For us it provided a relaxing end to our visit, although I am sure gardeners will get much more out of it. We enjoyed the Glasshouses and exploring the different climatic zones. My children spent a lot of time discussing which climates the preferred, as well as spotting plants like Cinammon. It... More

We hadn't planned to visit but saw the path through from the Schloss Nymphemburg and decided to check it out. Initially, a little dull with formal gardens laid out with a plant in turn, we happened upon the greenhouses... A fantastic show of cacti, tropical plants and superb ferns. Other than that, there are nice formal borders, a wild flower... More
