We (adults and kids loved the zoo. All the animals looked happy and Healthy. The zoo had large variety of animals. Also we were able to feed some of the animals. Also, we saw Lama animals walked by the zoo keepers and falcons. In addition to the animals there was a very nice play ground and kinder land with younger... More

We had a great time in the ZOO. It is big so I would recommend to split the trip into several visits, unless you want to exhausted. Check the animal feeding time before visiting, if you want to see it. My children love the playgrounds. We now have a yearly family pass and it is a bargain if you will... More

I have been to a few Zoo's and always disappointed but this one is great. The variety is great and the facilities for the animals too. They seem to be happy and all in good condition. There is plenty of shade on hot summer days for animals and visitors. Familien with children will find an area with small animals that... More

Positive: Natural surrounding, feels like you are in safari Animals are so well taking care off that makes you proud of human race Very reasonably priced at 12e each ticket or 15e for family with child Negative: Really none Recommendation: Definetely go to zoo and English garden, if you have only one day

This is a beautiful zoo, but not the best I've seen. We went to see the baby polar bears and it was almost unbearably crowded. There is glass between the viewers and animals that seemed unnecessary. I found some of the enclosures small and in some cases, sad - most notably the primates. I do have to congratulate the Germans... More

Ok so I haven't been to 100's of zoo's ( Melbourne, Sydney, Tasmania, Honolulu and Battersea Park UK) But this would have to be the most prettiest, natural zoo we have ever been too. The leave were changing colours, the animals seemed so close and all of the reindeer, moose and bear enclosures were like you were in the woods... More

The day we went was a holiday so it was crowded, but still enjoyable. Wide variety of animals and well maintained zoo. There is lots to walk, so plan to spend several hours here. Lovely place for the kids, but equally enjoyable for adults!! Nice unobstructed views of the animals. There is food available to purchase but you can also... More

While visiting Munich my youngest daughter 12 yrs old wanted to visit the zoo. I was a little hesitant at first but so glad we did. This was probably one of the best visits of our trip. We had a family of 4 all ages and we all throughly enjoyed our visit. The animals were incredible. It was easy to... More

Great place to watch animals. It can easily be reached by subway of bus. A lot of fun is to watch the feeding of the pelicans. The place has also very large covered territory with free running birds like various kind of ducks and other birds. Another great place to visit are the elephants with little Ludwig.
