Great choice of animals Lions, Tigers, Sharks you name it. The Bats were brilliant you go into there area and they just fly about you. Definitely best zoo I've... More

The Tierpark Hellabrunn Munich is a great place to spend some time. There are lots of common animals and many facilities for young people with small children.

Massively overpriced without much to offer. The children only go for the playground, otherwise it's very disappointing. Maybe the city should visit some world class zoos to see how it can be done instead if believing the typical Munich self-loving propaganda.

So much to offer! These animals are cared for, the park is so open and clean. It was a wonderful autumn day. Don't leave it too late as some animals hibernate!

Just lovely, for families or couples, always a great atmosphere. Animals are taken good care of! Wide spaces and decent price.

The Hellabrunn zoo is one of the best we have seen with our grandchildren in Europe. The best thing is the size of it. The little ones won't get tired of walking. However, there is enough to see. We were in the zoo in October on a cold day. Because the temperature was quite low the animals were active during... More

Munich Zoo was quite busy at Easter - the twin cubs were on show to the public and a large rabbit was distributing eggs to children. We were pleased to be offered a lower entry fee for "Seniors" too although we were from Australia. It was a pleasant zoo to walk around, small enough to cover most of it in... More

It is one of the best zoo parks that we visit. It is full of small rivers, woods, and ofcourse animals. Maybe too expencive. In some zoo parks you can buy anual ticket for price of day ticket here. Close from U3 subway so, really easy access from all parts of the city. You need 4-5 hours to see all... More

It was a pleasure to walk around in a very well maintained zoo and to see many different animals. Very impressive was the bat cave there, never ever had an experience like that before. Can recommend this fantastic place not only to families.
