An absolute must if you are interested in animals. Great value for money, pleasant to walk around, and so much to see. When we were there, it was out of season and not great weather, which made it much better, as it was not that full. One note - bring a bottle of water with you, the drinks inside are... More

Have been to the Munich Tierpark many times and always enjoyable. Nicely laid out with plenty of variety of animals, places to eat and drink. IF I had a negative it's that it is starting to look a little dated and can get VER busy during the summer weekends and school holidays.

It is a beautiful park, so it never gets crowded and even if you easily get annoyed by the crowed, still you can find some places where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful nature around Isar. This place is intended for kids of all ages, and their parents can find enjoyment as well. For small kids, you can get... More

Good day out. Lots to see and lots to do, the Orang-utan's and Polar Bears are well worth a visit. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Very Good

A good place to spend a few hours. The entry fee is reasonable, the animals are well displayed and were mostly visible. The closest U Bahn is about 10 minutes walk from the Tierpark.

For years, the residents of Munich have chosen the Tierpark as a one of their most do events. It is well laid out, it is exercise, you can eat here, with or without children , the exhibits are worthwhile.

We went in on our second attempt - the first time, we arrived late morning and the queues were immense so we decided to return at 9am the next day. Once inside, however, the zoo is arranged over such a large area, with plenty of trees and quiet paths, that it doesn't feel overcrowded. There are excellent playgrounds, a variety... More

every corner has something fascinating. The zoo is organised by world region with perhaps the biggest crowd-pleasers at each corner of its triangle layout. There are entrances at 2 of the corners and what I think is the larger of the 2 petting zoos -- with much more than a few farm animals -- at the 3rd corner (on the... More

Nice open layout, lots of animals to see and nice food outlets for a change. Didn't cost the earth for a family ticket compared to UK prices anyway.
