We visited with my children. I am sure they loved the zoo. As far as zoos go, this is probably my least favorite and we have been to quite a few. Many of the animals seemed to be in extremely small enclosures and some of them displayed strange behavior. The elephants stood in one place and rocked back and forth... More

Tickets cost 14€ for adults. There are a lot of food options. Staff overall was friendly though there sometimes were areas in the park where you spotted no one. It's a nice park, but some of the areas for animals seem a bit small and the water in some areas seems in need for some cleaning; at least it's very... More

I liked the park but when I compere it to Hagenbeck in Hamburg it is not as good as that one. There are many buildings with different themes like the monkey house or the reptile house. We saw the elephants with their handlars but they seemed a bit depressed to be honest.

I like to go to a zoo in every city I visit, and it is always pleasant to see when the animals are looked after and the conditions for them are good. In Hellabrunn it is really so. It has a big territory, there are many open-air cages and on the other hand warm inner spaces where they can live... More

Every city I visit, I visit the zoo. I love to see the variety of animals, how different areas set up the enclosures and care for the animals. Munich zoo is very easy to get to, about 5 mins walk from the u bahn. It is open every day of the year, which was useful when looking at what to... More

Located not far from the centre of Munich (20 minute bus ride) this is a great place to visit. It is quite a small zoo ( you can walk around it in 3 hours) but they have several food areas, plenty of children's play areas and regular demonstrations and feeding times to watch. I would certainly recommend this if you... More

We found this place very interesting. Apart from being practically the only place open on Christmas Eve in Munich, it has a great area in which to stroll. It is an excellent place especially for families with children. Animals are well taken care of. They have a vast area in which to move. Apart from viewing them, one can also... More

Great, just great. Elephants, goats, bears, pinguins, aquarium, snakes... Playground for kids, all facilities for strollers and baby maintenance, shops and cafes. Family is completely satisfied, so thank you.
