This is a good Zoo, very popular with locals and the animals look happy and well cared for, ample seating areas and food/drink outlets.

My husband goes here regularly with our 1 year old and I have been once. It is a great place for a day out. Our daughter loved the goats by the Isar entrance. Just be careful that they don't eat your clothes. The cafe by the Flamingo entrance is also very nice.

Very well presented zoo! The animals had sufficient space to be content, it was organized and well thought out. The animals were healthy and well cared for. I was quite excited to go see this zoo, but i was left a little bit disappointed. Many of the enclosures seem out-dated and small for the size or number of animals that live there and there were lots of signs of poor maintenance. This could of course be due to the economy, but that should not affect the animals'... More

What can I say... I don't like caged animals, but I admit they have good conditions. However, I've seen better zoos.

We used to be regular visitors when our children were smaller. We like the way the park is set up. There is a great playground in the zoo as well. On summer evenings you can stay longer after closure time and enjoy the park in a more quiet atmosphere.
