Very nice place to walk and catch an afternoon snack. The park has plenty of activities and lots of nice places to sit and relax.

For those of us who experienced the 1972 Olympic Massacre - we visited the stadium 2 weeks before the Olympics began - it will be difficult to think of it in other ways.

THe most striking thing about this place is the tower, which you just have to ascend as the views from the top are incredible. It'sjust a bit dated - not a great place for seeing much. Very popular with people of Munich for swimming etc and events - which is lovely but as a 'site' to visit - not really up there unless you have a special interest.

Lovely park area for a walk or a bike ride. Lots of people here when the sun is out and good atmosphere.

We always stop by when taking a city tour, but last summer I really had a chance to enjoy this park. Arrived here by U3 from Odeoplatz after spending the morning in the square. The BMW plant and museum here as well. The park is well maintained. The seats provide a restful spot to enjoy the lake.
