I loved it, it's a must-see for a movie freak! Of course you have to understand German, otherwise it's not interesting. I was there 2009, so there was another programme I'd like to see the new one

We signed up for the hour and half tour so we could see Falcor from the Neverending Story. We score majorly with a great tour guide (Florian)-and a fairly small group- and had a blast even though we didn't know many of the other films/shows shot there. There's plenty of funny exercises that engage people of all ages - and...

When people think of movie studios, most people think of Hollywood. However, Germany has a big time movie studio as well, the Bavaria FilmStadt. Granted, most of the movies and shows they produce are for German audiences, but they did have a huge American hit in the 80's, "The Neverending Story". That alone was reason enough for us to visit....

We visited because one member of the group is a great fan of Sturm der Liebe which is shot on location. The series can be followed on an Italian private TV station in Italian.
If you have been to other film studios in the US please do not do not bother to visit. The studios offer a tour through a...

I only did the guided tour in English for 11 Euro. For a smaller scale film studio, they do a good job of providing interesting things to see, especially sets from actual (mostly German) films and audience interaction. Tour members have the opportunity to act out an old-fashioned police car chase and if there is a German speaker on the...

I read everything I could find before our trip, trying to decide if this was worth it. In the end, I can't settle the issue for you. The bottom line for me is this: If you are familiar with their films, you would likely find this interesting, even enjoyable. If not, I can see how this tour just feels like...

I took complete tour, it was about 20 euros. The most interesting thing is 4D cinema, that simulates roller-coaster ride. You just have to try it! Another great thing is stunt show. There are also a lot of film sets (asterix, das Boot, some spaceship where you can be the actor) Great place, especialy for families.
We especially liked the stunt show where they explain and demonstrate how movie stunts are staged and how they are made realistic. A 4-D cinema was also a cool experience giving you a feeling of physical presence. Then there was a ride through the scenes, some of which are well-known not only to the German audience but also to international...

Das Boot, Asterix and Obelix against Cesar, the never ending story and others ( mainly german hits ...) The tour is only possible with a guide, and , sorry, but it´s not very...exiting. You see some of the decoy used and that´s it. No special attractions for kids, no activities. Nice to see but no more, they could do a...
