Great set up. Walk in, chose the Hell beer or the weissbier ( first is clear, second is cloudy ) then go and pay at the booth. Come back and eat some chicken or pork knuckle. Repeat several times. Very pleasant. If you like beer, try a weissbier first then a hell beer, then alternate. Very pleasant afternoon

Check out the Chinese tower beer garden. It's way better than the SeeHaus. There's a good buzz there and less posers. It feels more down to earth.

A "must-see place" in Munich. A gorgeous park in the middle of the city. Very attractive place to take photos.

Wow - beautiful, tranquil place to spend the day. Plenty of different areas of open fields, winding paths, streams and beautiful trees and bridges to discover. One of my favorite places to visit in Munich. We rented bikes and just rode them through from beginning to end and back again.

While in Munich my husband and I took an impromptu stroll in Englischer Garten with some friends. It is beautiful and peaceful, but big. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in Munich and don't miss the surfers!

Said to the the oldest city park in the world. I could believe it! The paths are very wide, lots of places to eat and hang out. Nice lake at one end with swans swimming by. Very popular with runners and walkers.

this park is massive and took ages to get to the beer garden, had to dodge people on bycicles, they should have a bike track only some nudists just leing about so not suitabel for children, yet lots of different activitys about and groups of family and friends enjoying the sun too
