The green loung of Munich, perfect for a walk, biking, relaxing, sports, picnic and more...Several Biergarten around but search for the not so well known ones.

Well designed, enjoyable walk with good signage to the centre, the Chinese tower was also an interesting diversion. Also saw people surfing in a man made surf area in one of the waterways...looked like fun.

Stopped here as part of a bike tour, and wished we had more time as really beautiful. Can imagine it's really beautiful in the summer, Make sure you do not miss the "Munich surfers" got to be one of the most unique things in the city.

This is a really nice park an " oasis" in a busy city. Clean and spacious with lots of well kept paths/walks and a great place to stroll and observe people at " play". Joggers, skaters, football and cricket , or just relax with a beer at the Chinese pagoda and listen the band. Make sure to exit near the... More

a wonderful place to walk, observe the birdlife, get away from it all - and to find a beergarden! It is well worth exploring as a contrast to the bustling city. The Chinese Tower beergarden there served quality food and beer.

This was a great park inside a large city and was so refreshing to take a walk or bike ride in. We enjoyed the beer garden at the end of our walk and then followed the river back to the suffers.

Fun to watch the surfers from the bridge, and then enjoy a stroll and a hot chocolate! Battled to find the surfers, but once there, realised it was at a bus stop! The English garden would be great for a long walk or jog too.

We spent a couple of hours here strolled around by the lake and then stopped to have some lunch at the tower. Sun was out and there was a lovely mix of people all enjoying the beginning of spring. A German band serenaded us and the food was very tasty. Certainly worth a visit if you are around and about.
