I loved these gardens from the second I stood foot in them, there was an instant vibe. Not only are they extremely scenic, but they are carefree. The perfect place to relax in the sun. It is also kept very clean, you can tell the city is proud of the area. Throughout the gardens there are plenty of things to... More

You will see horseback riders, city surfers, nude sun bathers, families with children, couples and just about any sort of tourist/person you can imagine. Lovely place to spend a few hours.

Lovely on sunny sundays, specially in the summer, everybody there walking and enjoying the day. A very clean park.

Good place to relax but easy to get lost. Needs more direction signs and maps (for tourists but maybe not locals).

It's nice to go once to walk around and enjoy yourself but it's really hard to enjoy the scenes or walk comfortably with all the bikes swooshing beside you ! It's really big -the biggest in Munich- but i found it boring and the kids were tired and bored and got cranky. If you're all a group of adults you... More

Beautiful park with everything from a Chinese pagoda/beer garden to surfing. Recommend seeing it via Mike's Bike Tour.

The English Garden was one of my favorite places in Munich. Very tranquil and perfect for walking and cycling. It's huge, but I never got lost. Worth visiting for sure.

Eyegasm. The place was huge but gorgeous. The weather was a little eerie - too cold and raining - but can only imagine how much nicer it would be on a sunny day. Didn't get a chance to stick around for too long, but spent quite a bit of time at this one bar/cafe. Don't remember the name but the... More
