This is a must stop!!!! If you are a lover of palaces/castles this a must see....over 90 rooms with audio guide in multiple languages pictures permitted (no flash) and a very nice tour I must say. The Bayern card can be used here as well.....it covers the audio guide as well (some places charge extra). Lavish rooms/floors and furniture nicely... More

Great tour for a rainy day. Some of the furnished rooms are outstanding in a Versailles-like way. More

I went to the Residenz in the hope of learning more about Bavarian Royal history, and I did. The entrance fee is alright (EUR 7) and included is an audioguide which is nice. The museum is quite large and there are a lot of exhibits in the museum. Some of the rooms like the Antiquarium and the Kaisersaal are quite... More

I enjoy visiting sites of historical interest, and was quite looking forward to the Residenz. I got the audio guide, and off I went. Disappointed, to say the least, by the complete lack of context. Loads about this room being decorated to represent the virtues of a good ruler, that room being used but the electress to play cards, the... More
