We bought a combination ticket which gave us access to the main palace plus carriages and porcelain museum and 4 other small palaces. I have to say the main palace itself is beautiful but nothing impressive. The garden and the carriages museum (Marstallmuseum) are worth visiting. And... it is fine if you miss the remaining 4 palaces.

This extremely large complex contains an enormous public park among which are numerous and highly varied places to enter. The complete entry fee to tour everything available is nearly token. Interior spaces and objects generally range from opulent to regal to hideously excessive. It is very easy to see how European royalty from the 17th-19th centuries became completely out of... More

The money spent by the royals is mind boggling. A must see the interior and exterior are on a GRAND Scale equal to Versailles

it was good to visit the place, but not anything very exciting. A bit away from the rest of the town, not worth spending much time here.

Beautiful castle, especially the gardens, which are just huge and magnificent. The inside of the castle is almost all authentic since Nymphenburg wasn't destroyed during WWII. The little bonus, if you can, is to go there by bike along the canal !

We went there on foot and despite the fact that it was a long way, the view along the river to the palace was amazing. The palace itself was very big with a beautiful lake and garden. On the inside you can visit the well-preserved rooms of king and queen.

Just a quick tour round the schloss and gardens. Delicious afternoon coffee and cake in the garden cafe. They were setting up for a wedding - which looked perfect. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

This Palace is very nice with beautiful gardens. You can go there with tram (which is the easiest way). In front of the Palace is a small lake with swans and ducks. It looks like Paris' Versailles!

Its a huge palace, quite good but if you are not interested in watching wall paintings (murals) or ld carriages etc then you will feel purchasing museum ticket as simple wastage of money. However they have huge garden with canal, and it being a sunny day during my visit I found many people in garden enjoying they day out under... More
