This is the (!) real Munich Brauhaus. Here you can see, smell and taste what tradition for Bavarian Breweries means. Absolutely charming! Come early, so you get a place in the court!

Been there with my significant one and a friend after a long day walking around Munich during which we tried another couple of places. Of the three, this was undoubtly the better, being a typical old Keller with quick service and generous food portions. The waitress was typically keeping her distance until we started ordering in German, then she became...

Very large restaurant yet it has a cozy feel to it. Lots of booths in various nooks and crannies. Service was very good. Waitress spoke no english, but between us we figured things out.
Food was outstanding. I had one of their specialty items, wild boar with cranberry sauce and a pear dumpling. Wild boar was delicious... tender, meaty and not...

Hacker-Pschorr beer, 'nuff said, AWESOME! Not so sure about the Bavarian fare, only had two so-so dishes. Service was very slow, but outdoor courtyard is very nice for dining. Don't miss the old Hacker and Pschorr metal signs and steins all over the courtyard and restaurant!!

I ate there two times, first time I ate for lunch-traditional bavarian meal, drank fruit juice: about €20. Second time I ate traditional Munich Weiß würst(white saussages), served until 12 pm(2 saussages , lemon soda: about €8).
Although a bit expensive, it was worth every cent because of great atmosphere. There is even a free WI-FI hotspot. I was there...

Ate there yesterday- great meal. The menu is still available in English, amongst other languages. The food is above average and the beer is excellent. Sitting outside in the internal courtyard with water burbling away, is a great way to spend the evening.
My German friends are very happy with the food and prices- higher since the Euro headed north,...

I visited Altes Hackerhaus some days ago with my family. The waitress was not speaking English at all! We tried to ask her about the menu but it was not possible to get information, so we' ve made an almost "blind" order. The food was average, we ordered some things and get others and when we talked again to the...
