Very nice to place to sitdown in a cold day and sip a hot chocolate. The milka store is there, which means it's gonna be your favorite place in town if you're a chocolate lover. Very good atmosphere, it's very hard to choose a place to eat, you're just gonna love them all!

Schrannenhalle is just located beside the Viktualienmarkt. The hall offers different little open kitchens with itlalian, spanish, asian and tradiotional food. They have as well some little shopping and merchandise facilities. Very nice if you like the modern life with all the international mixtures of people and food. It is a lifestyle place to hang out and enjoy some nice... More

If in the area, visit this large hall that hosts Milka World, the high end Kafer market, some of the best brands of teas, wine, food, and ice-cream. Smaller shops here change as they rent space so you may find different places in different seasons. This hall has a large restroom area in the underground floor, a plus plus in... More

This is a large indoor market with gourmet foodstuffs, cafes and wine bars. All rather over priced but it's a nice experience so worth the visit. We had pizza, crepes and coffee on a side table looking out. Service is somewhat chaotic - We kept being told to sit and that someone would come to serve us but it took... More

This was an amazing stop that stumbled on by accident. If you are anywhere near the Starbucks in Marienplatz area the hall is across the street from it. You will find various areas for eating, purchasing food and just wonderful variety of merchandise. A nice stop after walking around. I would also suggest bypassing the Starbucks and heading directly to... More

This place is also amazing, making a visit to Viktualienmarkt all the more necessary. It's actually the nicest indoor market I have ever been to. It's clean, has lots of choice, and all the vendors are of a very high standard indeed! It even has wifi and toilets depending on your needs. Go visit, I guarantee you will find something... More

We came across this by mistake and thought from the outside it would be similar to the covered markets you get in France. Not so! Like the French food halls this is paradise for anyone who is into their food. There is so much choice and all of it displayed to tempt you. However unlike the french versions it is... More

You can buy amazing tee, have a great meal and visit the milka store. A beautiful and yammy place to go in Munich, right in the center of the city.

If you like good food then Schrannenhalle will be like a dream for you. Most things are quite expensive so it is probably more a place for window shopping then buying. Everything is so well arranged and professional, and have food from all over the world. You can also have coffee or Lunch there at one of the stalls.

An alternative to the Virktualenmarkt. This one is modern and air conditioned and has everything you need for a good meal! To top it off, it has a giant Milka shop and also an extensive supermarket.
