Description: Munich City, Third Reich, Dachau, Salzburg, Nuremberg and Neuschwanstein...
Munich City, Third Reich, Dachau, Salzburg, Nuremberg and Neuschwanstein and other Ludwig II Castles. A tour with Curt Milburn is like having a welcoming family friend show you around Munich. Curt's been called "The Wikipedia of History". He specializes in small group and private tours. Tours are tailor-made and Curt finds out what YOU want to see. His City Tours go beyond canned, set routes. You'll see the famous sites, architecture, learn about kings, Hitler, foods and beer. Our Third Reich Tours delve deep into more than when, but why and how the Nazis came to power and you'll see the bombed buildings of Hitler. Curt's Dachau tours are sensitive and remarkably moving and his Neuschwanstein and Castle tours are great fun. Salzburg & Nuremberg are within your reach with Big Hat Tours! Every tour is accompanied by an Apple i-Pad with hundreds of photos to put you into history.

Wow can really recommend Curt. He was so good with our 4 children, my mother and the 2 of us. He taught us so much. Showed us all the secret places. My little one of 8 said it was his best trip by far!

I have traveled all over the world and never written a review. I am doing so now because I don't think I would have been able to say I really saw Munich without having taken this tour. I will admit I balked at spending the $ at first. But this tour is well worth it. Curt is so well read... More

We booked Curt for a family trip with my parents and two of my good friends. The three of us are all juniors in college studying abroad in Spain so we have had our fair share of lousy and mediocre tour guides. Curt went above and beyond to change to accomodate our ever varying needs from history to beer to... More

I brought a group of teenagers who are studying History on the 'Third Reich Tour' and they found it fascinating. Curt held their attention for the entire thing and they are still talking about it!

I have just enjoyed a second tour of Munich with Curt, and once again I was very impressed by the depth and detail of his tours, which he manages to bring to life with interesting anecdotes. We took a group of teenage students on a Third Reich Tour and a tour of Dachau and Curt kept them interested and engaged... More

This is one of the best tours I have had. He mixed historical photos with actual experience. He was able to show us all the details that we would have missed. Mix of history and architecture was very knowledgable. Thank you for a great tour!

Curt has the innate ability to read his guests and and temper his tours accordingly. Case in point, our first day was scheduled to be a tour of Dachau. We had travel issue and rolled in pretty tired and not up for the additional travel to Dachau. We asked Curt if we could audible and stay in Munich and he... More

My wife and I only had a short time to spend in Munich and wanted to make the most of it, so we signed up for the Munich City Tour with Curt. First off, Curt was very flexible as our flight to Munich got cancelled and he was able to schedule us in for the next morning without issue. Then... More

We had a Private Walking Tour which Curt "personalized" to perfectly meet our wishes. I was there with customers (business trip) and we all had a great, great afternoon. Curt knows the city and local history very well, always showed us pictures from before/during/after World War II on his IPad to show us how things have hanged and told stories... More
