Description: Munich City, Third Reich, Dachau, Salzburg, Nuremberg and Neuschwanstein...
Munich City, Third Reich, Dachau, Salzburg, Nuremberg and Neuschwanstein and other Ludwig II Castles. A tour with Curt Milburn is like having a welcoming family friend show you around Munich. Curt's been called "The Wikipedia of History". He specializes in small group and private tours. Tours are tailor-made and Curt finds out what YOU want to see. His City Tours go beyond canned, set routes. You'll see the famous sites, architecture, learn about kings, Hitler, foods and beer. Our Third Reich Tours delve deep into more than when, but why and how the Nazis came to power and you'll see the bombed buildings of Hitler. Curt's Dachau tours are sensitive and remarkably moving and his Neuschwanstein and Castle tours are great fun. Salzburg & Nuremberg are within your reach with Big Hat Tours! Every tour is accompanied by an Apple i-Pad with hundreds of photos to put you into history.

Just finished a HIGHLY informative tour of Dachau with Big Hat Tours. After doing a private tour of the Eagle's Nest two days prior, I am convinced that private tours of significant historical sites are the way to go, and Curt at Big Hat Tours is no exception. Extremely knowledgeable and filled with facts beyond the boards put up by... More

Curt took us on a tour through Munich. We focused on WW1, WW2 and Hitler's rise to power. My husband is a social science teacher and we have 2 daughters who are learning about these events in school. We learned so much!! Even my husband added arsenal to his already heavy database of facts. What makes Curt special? He is... More

Several family members met in Munich in late July and decided to do a tour of the city since we had only a couple of days there. Curt from Big Hat Tours customized our tour to engage everyone from the college guys to the 50-something parents. He moved us seamlessly through centuries of history to WW I and WW II... More

We decided to spend 2 nights in Munich prior to a long 10 day castle tour and decided to find a city tour of Munich. Curt did an excellent job. The tour was from 9AM-1PM and there was just myself, my wife and another couple on the tour. He customized the tour based on what we wanted to see and... More

We had a FABULOUS time with Curt - we did both a walking tour of Munich, with a focus on WWII history, and his Nuremberg tour. They were both TOP NOTCH. Curt is extremely knowledgeable about ALL the subject matters and eager to share his knowledge and learn through the experiences of his clients. We came away knowing so much... More

We were in Munich for a week and booked three straight days of tours with Curt, and it was the best decision we could have made. We did Neuschwanstein, Nuremberg and Salzburg and Curt brought all three locales to life with fascinating history and his entertaining delivery. He knows all the hidden gems, secret routes and gets you where you... More

Booked a walking tour of Munich with Curt during the last week of June. The day was extremely pleasant, just right for seeing the sights of Munich. Met Curt outside of Richarts as he instructed in his email. We were all impressed with his knowledge of Munich; from the days leading up to the war to the 'current day. It's... More
