Please, don't go if you're expecting for an exclusive table, a quiet place or an VIP service... That is a place for fun, a perfect place to know people from all around the world. The tables are enormous and sharing them is the normal act. Great beer on an historical place.

We went during lunch time with the kids. We had a very nice time, right in front of the band. Kids enjoyed the atmosphere and we enjoyed that and the beer!

I went here on my last night in Munich by myself and ended up meeting a bunch of people and chatted away the evening while drinking some great beer and having a few german bites. The atmosphere is generally loud and not the best if you are bringing a family, but if you want to see a historic building in... More

After a short underground train ride from our hotel we stopped here for dinner. After seating our selves we enjoyed a yummy traditional German meal. The lively music kept the little ones entertained while we enjoyed the atmosphere and pretzels.

Great to experience this bar on a recent trip to Munich. The food was traditional German cuisine, plenty of it, simple but tasty. A great place to while a way a few hours and people watch. Plenty of children inside but for me more of a city break destination for adutlts. Worth considering an early arrival before traditional meal times... More

Not much to say really...it's totally overrated, pricey for what you get, generally very loud and not really the best beer-hall to visit in Munich. Try the Augustiner in Landsberger Strasse or the Löwenbrau Keller at Stiglmaier Platz...more authentic!

Even if you are not a beer drinker you should still visit the Hofbrauhaus just to see a bit of Germany past. The atmosphere is tremendous and great fun with a 'oom pah pah' band in situ It is all very inexpensive too

Amazing restaurant. Exciting friendly atmosphere of Oktoberfest all year through. Fantastic beer, authentic dishes, locals in traditional bavarian clothes and live music add a lot of fun. If you have no friends in Munchen, feel free to go there and soon you'll make a plenty. Really worthy to visit! You will love it!

Definitely worth a visit if you're in Munich for a night. They sell beer by half or full liters. Would recommend the radler (lemonade and beer). Lively and fun atmosphere. Large and tasty pretzels, fairly cheap too. Worth a visit.
