This is what Munchen is all about buy masse beers 1L for €7.60 if your lucky enough there will be a traditional Bavarian brass band playing.The atmosphere is unbelievable and you meet the true Bavarians and locals aswell. Don't go Munchen and not go here

Food is a little pricey but you can't beat the atmosphere. Definitely sit downstairs so you can see and hear the band and enjoy a nice beverage and meal. If you go upstairs, you basically miss the whole environment and reason to visit. Join the locals and have a great time!

Ah yes, the famous Hofbrauhaus. It's touristy, overpriced, rushed, crowded and the food is lackluster, but still...you've gotta go. It's just a requirement if you're in Munich.
