The Deutsches Museum is the largest "technical and scientific" museums in the world. You have a selection of great exhibits. They also include a pass to the auto museum with your admission fee. Transportation to the museum by tram is very easy (buy an all day city public transportation pass). The museum is so large that it does not feel... More

Excellent example of technological museum. Covers a great number of areas, starting from the technology that the first watermills involved, includes boats in their real size, even submarines of the 2nd W.W. Also you can find aeroplanes, a space station, spacesuits, missiles, the triplane of the Red Baron, the plane that Wright brothers took off for the first time, posters,... More

Easily the best museum I have ever visited. Really is something for everyone. I spent four hours there and didnt see everything. The mines are amazing and the new biology centre. More

A world of tis own. There is something fore everyone... Cars, ships, planes, space, animals, physics, chemistry... Kids will love it, parents will thank Germans for that... Do not miss it by any chance. More

So much for German organization. The floorplan is difficult to follow. The model train exhibit wasn't working. Still, I enjoyed the airplanes exhibit, especially the V2 rocket and the homemade plane that an East German had hoped to fly over the Berlin Wall. More

This museum is more than impressive. It excites both the young and old and you can literally spend hours getting lost among the real size planes, boats etc. Go! More

Had a rainy day so decided to visit this museum and so glad we did. Followed Rick Steve's guide, saw some great stuff, there mining exhibit is fascinating (not for the claustrophobic) the boats are really great, they have a U-boat submarine cut in half, lots of great science exhibits and items from all over the world...ie american moon buggy....... More
