Too bad the new city hall had parts of it covered with renovations going on. Other than that, it's a great place to take a few shots and have a beer! Not very crowded. Could have more lights at night. More

Definitely worth the 2 euros to go up the tower. Nice to sit and have a drink, but beware all the restaurants charge to use the toilet, even if you're a customer! More

Take it easy, as this is a busy area. Sit outside and enjoy. There are plenty of stores around, but try the side streets first. More

You have to wander through Marienplatz to inhale the whole experience. Stop at any of the restaurants (with outdoor seating) for great food....flower stands, fruit stands...wander over to the nearby meat markets, vegetable markets...truly European. Something I miss terribly in Canada! More

Fun and interesting. Crowded with people from all over the world, which provides some interesting "people watching"! When all the central church bells go off at once, it is a beautiful sound and changes as you turn from street to street. More
