This is a great museum! Getting out there is pretty easy - approximately twenty minutes on the S- or U-bahn from Marienplatz. Well worth it. This museum really amazed. It is truly innovative and different. They made the history of BMW actually interesting. When you walked near an exhibit music or a recorded explanation of it started playing. And depending on where you stood it was either in German or English. After making a special trip to Munich to visit the BMW Museum we were extremely disappointed to find it was shut on Mondays. There was nothing on their website to advise that this was the case. Very poor public relations. more

I visited the BMW Museum in Munich in September 2008. Admission was €12, pay parking available in the basement of the showroom/customer delivery centre nearby. The museum is located across the street from this building via a pedestrian overpass. per previous reviews this is worth a stop on any tour of Munich - the Museum is next door to the BMW factory and BMW World. point not mentioned in previous reviews -- the Museum is closed on Mondays. if the museum is closed spend some time in the showroom next door - it has everything BMW more

visited the bmw temporary museum on a recent trip to munich.went round it with 2 kids in about 30 mins.dont waste your time going unless your are visiting the olympic park anyway. more
