Stunning view of the city. Loved it. Probably not for the faint of heart, I got a little spooked standing right against the glass. It has a sort of guide on the glass to help you understand what you're looking at. Thought that was handy. There's also a restaurant and a mini rock museum at the top. I did not... More

Unless you're afraid of heights, it feels great to be up there. You can see the landscape from the top. Enjoyed my time alot.

The 1972 Olympics were held in Munich, and where the main games were located is now Olympia Park. In the center of this park is the Olympiaturm, a 291 meter tower that gives visitors a gorgeous panoramic view of Munich and the surrounding country side. It costs 5.50 Euros to ride up to the top, and it is well worth... More

Not a place for those who dislike heights but, if you don't have such problems, take time to go up this tower for the beautiful views across Munich towards the Alps. The lift to the top is fast but they do fill each lift to capacity at peak times. There is a covered viewing area which has the main sights... More

The Olympiaturm is one of the musts of Munich because of its amazing view of the city and the alps. It's so nice to see everything you visited from above. The rock museum included in the price of admission is also a very nice bonus, with so many interesting stuff like lyrics sheets of famous songs, clothes of rockers, pianos,... More

Very nice tower, both open air and indoor observation decks. Nice restaurant from where you can see the stunning 360 degree view! It is near the BMW Welt, so if you are there, go and see the tower!

The Olympiaturm is the large tower in the middle of the Olympic Park in Munich. From the top you have breathtaking views of the city and, on a clear day, all the way to the Alps. You can view from the inside with lots of maps / diagrams to guide and explain; or you can brave the outside for the... More

We visited the Olympiaturm when visiting the BMW Welt in Olympia Park. Yes, it's a nice view, but I think we would have preferred to keep our 9 euros. You can get a nice view of the city from the church towers for less money, and get your "scenic" views from one of the many cable car/lift options outside Munich... More

Surprisingly not crowded by tourists, this attraction offers a magnificent view to Olympic Stadium, BMW Welt, BMW Museum and even to Allianz Arena Football Stadium. There is a panoramic revolving restaurant where you can enjoy a dinner at a height of 190 meters. The best time of the day to get there to make pictures is in the evening before... More
