This is one of the most beautiful castles in Germany. It is a little bit of a hike up the mountain to the castle but there is a restaurant right before the castle where you can enjoy a coffee or beer while waiting on your tour to start. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the other castle. Don't waste... More

Magnificent views from a place coming out straight from a fairy tale. I do not have much to say, just go once in your life there. BUT do not pay to go inside. According to my opinion it is overpiced. 12 Euros is too much.

My friends and I drove to the Neuschwanstein Castle when we were visiting a friend in Munich. This is a must see when in Germany/Munich if you can get there! First of all, the drive to the castle was stunning. The grass and surroundings were so vibrantly green and the scenery was breath taking. My friend who was living in... More

We purchased the ticket that allowed us to see all three attractions at the site which is definitely the way to go. The area as a whole is beautiful, we really enjoyed our day here despite the downpours. Castle Hohenschwangau was a lovely walk and a lovely comprehensive tour, lots of history and lots of artefacts, a great place to... More

Good tour, loved the horse ride up. €6 up and three back each, €5 for a return trip would have been more than fair, so slightly rich in my opinion. Went today so was disappointed the bridge that overlooks the castle was closed but understand why as it looked icy and dangerous. Everywhere else had been cleared so not sure... More

Amazing castle and beautiful views. Would love to visit again. The ticket we purchased included Hohenschwangau castle and the museum in town. We took an informative english tour and saw the interiors of the castle.

This castle is approximately 1 hour from Munich in Bavaria region and represents the typical fairy tale castle. It is definitely worth a visit in winter time when it snows. The castle is very well maintained, the only possible way to visit inside is with guided tour that lasts approx 20min and there are always a lot of tourists, so... More

We've traveled in Italy, France, Germany, and various areas of US and Canada. After all of that, my wife says her favorite day in any of them was visiting Hohenschwangau, Neuschwanstein, and Linderhof. We rented a car and drove from Munich - was an easy drive. Yes, the castle is not finished, but what you are able to tour is... More

Just come back from an amazing trip to the Neuschwinstein castle with Radius tours. If you are staying in Munich make this trip a must. The trip was well organised and very informative and this was mainly down to the excellent tour guide " Austin from Texas". Not only was he very informative about the history surrounding the castle, he... More
