The Garmish Classic covers both Zugspitze and AlpsPitze for 62 Euros. The To and Fro Trip involves traveling by Mountain Rail + the Cog Rail to the top and Cable Car + Mountain rail to the bottom. If planning to complete everything on the same day, It is easier to visit AlpsPitze first and goto Zugspitze later. On your way... More

My husband and I have been going to Garmisch-Partenkirchen since 2005 and never get tired of going. We just went back again this summer and enjoyed every day we were there. Garmisch has museums, parks, hiking trails, restaurants, shopping. It has it all.

The Garmisch Classic covers both up and down lifts to 2033M using 3 chairlifts and only a 30 minute downhill walk if that's what you want, we missed out the middle lift and walked for about 90 minutes on good but slippy paths. The highlight has to be the cantilever observation platforms quite scary Like the rest of Bavaria once... More

This ticket cost 62 euros and included the Zugspitz and Alpspitz. The Zugspitz consists of travelling by train from Garmisch, cog railway from Eibsee and then cable car, returning either the same way or coming back via the Eibsee cable car and then the train back to Garmisch. The Alpspitz consists of the train from Garmisch and the cable car... More

We did not get to spend much time, but from what we saw, we loved the friendly walking street and the live there is at certain venues on a winter night.

Fantastic trip to Garmisch; great restaurants; took a cable car to the top of the highest mountain in Germany; shopped and enjoy the beautiful churches. Many venues here from when the Olympics were in Munich.

Loved the amazing landscape...even in winter. I'm looking forward to returning. It would be good fun with friends and family.

We had gone skiing at Zugspitze the day before we went to Garmisch-Classic, and we should have done it the other way around. Garmisch-Classic did have a large variety of runs which was nice as they had quite a few more than Zugspitze. But I think they must do a lot of ski school as the runs were quite crowded... More
