Fantastic trip to Garmisch; great restaurants; took a cable car to the top of the highest mountain in Germany; shopped and enjoy the beautiful churches. Many venues here from when the Olympics were in Munich.

Loved the amazing landscape...even in winter. I'm looking forward to returning. It would be good fun with friends and family.

A visit to Garmisch is a must it is a beautiful place full of charm, lots to see . An added bonus is the opportunity to take a train to the summit of Zugspitze mountain.. The scenery of course is outstanding .

We had gone skiing at Zugspitze the day before we went to Garmisch-Classic, and we should have done it the other way around. Garmisch-Classic did have a large variety of runs which was nice as they had quite a few more than Zugspitze. But I think they must do a lot of ski school as the runs were quite crowded... More

Love this place. Slopes for all levels, ski instruction for all levels. Outstanding restaurants on the mountain. D9 has great staff and good food, good price.

There is so much to see and even though we've been there several times we always find new things to see.

It gets busy on the weekends, would recommend skiing during the week if you can. The runs were very icy and the man made snow only lasted part way through the day. We will go again, but only after we try some other ski areas.

We were there for New Year's week and it was crazy crowded! Europeans don't have lift lines like in the states so you are in a funnel to get on the lift. People push and cut and they don't care if it is a child. Go to the Zugspitz if you can- worth the time and cost.

Very busy during the season, but very efficient lifts and restaurants. Recommended for all no matter how long you have been skiing.
