Don't worry if you forgot to download the "Koenigsee Schifffahrt" app before your visit. The area where you purchase the boat tickets has free Wi-fi and you can quickly download the app, which provides an English-language audio guide for your boat tour to St. Bartholomae. Bring your headphones for the audioguide. At St. Bartholomae we visited the smoked fish stand... More

I went there with an indifferent feeling, and I was totally taken aback. It is very unspoilt. I would have loved to be able to take a swim in the clear water (but nobody could tell us if it was allowed). Do yourself a favour and walk as far up the Röthbach fall as you can. Spend a couple of... More

This place is wonderful and worth visiting! I've been there in winter, it was snowing when I took the boat. It was just so romantic and peaceful. You can spend whole afternoon there, taking the boat, walking around, enjoy a cup of coffee. That's what you can't see when you are living in a modern city.

Walking from the car park to the lake you pass lots of tacky touristy shops and restaurants. There are boat trips on the lake, which is lovely, with the mountains towering all around you.

Nice area to spend an afternoon with family and friends. Views are lovely. Lots of shops and places to eat. The only problem we had all day was using the restroom facilities. The attendant was very rude when we tried to explain that we had only a 5 euro bill and would need change.

My fiance and i had a great time on the Konigssee. The beauty is indescribable! Even though it rained most of the time we were there, it was still worth it. We took the boat to Salet, and then hiked to the waterfall. A word of advise: don't hike the 1.5 hours to the waterfall. Hike to the first building... More

This place is AMAZING! Looks like something out of this world! My friends thought the photos I took there were photoshoped! Didn't know a ladscape can actually look like THAT! As soon as I got back hope I couldn't stop thinking of getting back there! The Bavarian guy with the trumpet (on the boat) was got answered back by the... More
