If you are staying in Salzburg or Munich, Lake Konigssee is the perfect day trip. It is only a couple of hours from Munich and less than an hour from Salzburg! When we got there, we knew we wanted to hike up to the Eiskapelle so we didn't spend much time in town or around the St. Bartholomew stop. To... More

That was a breath taken tour! It is stroller friendly. We took the boat to st bartolomew church. The tou going and back took about 2 hours but I would say to spend more time in the church area! There are rest aunts and little stores there. And the view is just stunning! Some info: the boats are now electric... More

Beautiful and definitely worth the trip--couple of tips traveler to traveler--decide how long /set aside enough time to do this properly. (1) parking is a good 10 min walk --and you can't just "add time" once you decide what you want to do. Lake tours are short/long. Short you'll need at least 2 hrs parking. Long well that's debatable--the hike... More

The views are amazing and beautiful. The lake and the surrounding mountains are simply stunning. The boat ride was also an enjoyable experience.

One of the nicest places I visited. The unmatched beauty of the lake and mountains is unmissable . I have been there in the spring and winter and recommend in any season.

good electric boat tour of the lake, but my favorite thing was being dropped off to walk to Lake Obersee. Beautiful area! Loved our visit and would recommend - these lakes and this area is so pretty. Recommend this!

This is the place. If you take the train from Munich, the leg from Freilassing to Berchtesgaden will likely be the most gorgeous train ride of your life. I imagine Konigsee must be a complete zoo on weekend afternoons (especially in summer). I would suggest you go as early as you can and on the most "off" day possible. Even... More

A Gd little afternoon out to see a quiet n beautiful lake. Majestic place that offer tranquility and peace. The echo performance by the boat guide was fantastic. I travelled to the place from Munich. Traveling by train and connect was made very easy at the Munich main train station. Train station staff was very friendly and helpful. Buy the... More

We did the boat trip (with our dog) early afternoon after a quick lunch near the pier. It was a lovely sunny spring day so the scenery was stunning. Snow capped mountains with fresh greenery in the woods. We only went as far as St Bartholomey and then did a walk along the lakeside and into the woods. If we... More

We made the decision at the last minute to come here for a quick look and wished we had allowed the entire day. The walkway towards the lake is very touristy and because of time, we didn't stop to look in any of the shops or cafes. It was still pretty early so many were still in the process of... More
