If you take the boat ride early all the way to the end, there is a hike to the biggest waterfall in Germany, but last boat back is 1630 and easily a few hrs round trip to falls. Very nice trip. Plan to tip on way down doe echo trumpeter.

We took the second cruise of the day, which was very worthwhile to avoid the crowds. The calm waters made for excellent photo opportunities and the trumpet solo amongst the high cliffs was spectacular. The crew were very friendly. The church perched on the shore was magical. Altogether a great experience.

The boat trip to St Bartholoma is well worth doing with the echo from the fluegel horn a highlight. The steep slopes at the side of the lake reminded me of fjords.
We took the electric boat tour of the lake. Well worth it! The views are outstanding and you stop at the echo point and the captain trumpets....amazing the perfect echo! The boats stop at St. Bartholomä and then you can hike around and catch any boat back or just hop on the next boat and go back. Highly recommended!
Berchtesgaden is a lovely and historical city that really worths the visit. Once you´re there, you MUST go to Konigsee and stay hours walking and admiring the view.
