I used to go to Königsee in summer time (for mountain tours). We ventured to St Bartholomä the first time in winter and we had a brilliant weather. Even by noon time, there were only few tourists on the boat. Really recommended excusion to enjoy the drinking water clear lake, the echo and the chapel of St.Bartholomä. The Fisherwirt is... More

Taking this boat trip from Konigssee along the lake to St Bartholomae is a unique experience. The pilot will stop half way and blow his trumpet giving an echo effect bouncing off the mountains. We went in January when there weren't many people and with the snow on the mountains reflected in the water it was beautiful and peaceful.

January is the time to visit, the lack of crowds and a light dusting of snow on the mountains make it picture-perfect.

Just like the lake, you must see this place. After a nice boat trip through the Konigssee, you'll find this unique chapel.

when visit Berchtesgaden, dont miss to take boat trip which takes you to this unique place. Trip itself is nice, sailing on crystal clear water. When you step out, just enjoy this sceneria.. You can try to step into ice water... Be patient when going back, there is long queue...

Very nice, worth a repeat. Pick a day it doesn't rain and the scenery is great. You can even row your own boat to the location.

The Mountains and lake surrounding it are far superior and better to look at. I've seen a lot of churches in my day, but this one by far had the best scenery. Very Touristy area and pretty pricey to get to in my opinion.

A charming pilgrimage church only accessible by boat or hiking trailing to the middle of the lake. Its peaceful, bucolic surroundings give moments to ponder, meditate or pray as you wish. The cliffs along the fjord are breathtaking and will fill up your camera! The restaurant a few meters from the church has a Biergarten and the food is pretty... More

Pretty church 2/3's of the way to the end of Konigsee. Very peaceful and relaxing. They have a small restaurant there, and you can walk around a bit.
