a lot of great shops, some more and some less expensive, but everything is really good quality! And to make your time even better- a lot of street artists to watch and listen. Fantastic !

Whenever I can, I avoid this street. It's great if you want to go shopping, but it really gets on my nerves: it's always full of people (so much that sometimes it's hard to walk) and there just are big impersonal shops

I have been here too many times and have never hated it. There are three main U-Bahn stations to get here: Hauptbahnhof, Schlossplatz, and Stadmitte. Shopping for the latest trends isn't hard when you're here as the stores are mostly of the popular chains (there were several H&M's on this street). Niche restaurants and pubs are sprawled around the street.... More

fantastic to be in the pedestrian area, but most of the shops are yet again the cheap high street chains and quite a few of quite ghastly smelling oily food stalls.

Koenigstrasse summarizes Stuttgart for those who want a quick look at the city. It extends from right infront of the Hauptbahnhof to the Rathaus, with a multitude of shops and restaurants as well as exposure to the Schlossplatz so the it is kind of a summarizing stroll. At the front of the street, just infront fo the main station, there... More

Although there is a bit of work being done in the Schlossplatz, this area is great for sitting in the sun and people watching. Also, there are a number of bars locally for drinks and they are reasonable for where you are sitting. The main shopping street in near at hand so if the weather turns poor you can go... More

Koenigstrasse is mentioned as the longest streets in Europe for Shopping and you can find anything from low end to high end here as there is something for everyone. The castle and park adjacent to the street is a place worthy enough for hangouts. The place is usually crowded during weekends and extremely crowded during the Xmas - New Year... More

Fun outing . Great variety and places to eat. Pretty downtown area. The outdoor market on the weekends is especially fun.
