What a lovely place to take stroll. When the weather is good and the sun is shining, it looks like whole stuttgart is walking there. It is filled with terraces, for coffee, drinks or a small meal. All buildings are in perfect state, must see when your in town.

The Schlossplatz represents the heart of Stuttgart, at least as Tourist we get to the square as a main meeting point reference. it is the biggest square in Stuttgart and it is very close to Karlsplatz and Schillerplatz. The Schlossplatz holds the New Castle and was recently renewed in the late century. It helds big events there and from there... More

The square used to be a military parade ground off limits to the public. Most of the surrounding buildings were extensively damaged during World War II bombing and have been reconstructed. It lies a block or so from the main railroad station and is connected to it by a pedestrian way with many top flight stores. It is tastefully illuminated... More

Nice fountains and view of Palace. We walked through as part of a walking tour. Many people were enjoying the weather. There was a 25th Anniversary of the German Unification Exhibit at one end of the square.

Very good restoration around the city centre. Lots of shops and restaurants around the area. Suggest to go at night to enjoy the beautiful lights reflected from the buildings. It is also perfect to walk early in the morning where you will see birds on the glass and the water.

The city center of Stuttgart, a typical city center, nothing too impressive but if visiting Stuttgart it's a must.

This garden was a surprise as it on the main shopping street and you just come across it it is very well kept and has plenty of places to sit and people watch. By crossing the park we were able to see parts of the city we may have missed. The palace was beautiful and was a nice backdrop to... More

The Schlossplatz in Stuttgart is really a big square. Nice buildings and expensive shops in close distance. Nice parks are also near. A good choice if you only have to spend a few hours in this City.
