Nice Spot to relax in the hustle and bustle of the city. I walked through on a sunny afternoon and got some great pics! People were out relaxing on the grass or sitting enjoying ice cream and drinks. All the shops are nearby to enjoy shopping too.

This is the front yard of the city palace of the Habsburgs. They really knew how to live well. The size and grandeur is stunning!

Sit down with a pitcher or 3 of Dinkle-acker and watch the world go by. Anywhere is good but Carls Brauhaus is very good food-wise. English menu very helpful. Loved it.

Good shopping in Stuttgart, Germany. Has the usual European stores with plenty of H&Ms, Zara and other key brands. Very easy to walk around, great bakeries and sandwich shops. Enjoyed an afternoon of shopping during holiday.

Stuttgart is not a "beautiful city" in the classic sense; most of the views are a little drab due to the industrial focus of the city. The open platz in front of the palace is a great place to relax and see Stuttgart's best festivals. On a nice afternoon, it is a short walsk from main shopping/business area; benches and... More

A nice place to lay back and relax if and only if the weather is good with no rains. a much needed breakpoint or a pitstop for all thjose people who finish one side of the shopping street and continue to the next one. Get an icecream in summer or a Gluhwein in winter. Take some pics here and turn... More

The Schlossplatz is a large area in the middle of the main pedestrian street. There is a garden with benches in the middle, the "new" castle on one side and the majestic Königsbau building on the other as well as the modern art museum. To the side is the "old" castle which is now a history museum. The continuation of... More

A good thing about Stuttgart to know is that most of the grass in the parks and gardens are open for sitting and to chill or have a little glass of wine. Many Stuttgarter just fetch a glass from a bar or bring a chilled bottle of wine and sit somewhere in the parks. So as well at the Schlossplatz.... More

So many things to see from the Palace, wonderful cafés, to just people watching. A can't miss in Stuttgart. The Ubohn will drop up right in the Square. The Place of William is well worth a walk around. The State Museum is also within the Square, you can spend hours seeing everything just around the Place Square. You can shop,... More
