We visited the Porsche museum while we were staying in Rothenburg. It takes about 90 mins each way by car from Rothenburg to the museum. We had a great time there. Entrance fee is 20 euros for 2 including parking which was good value. The museum is amazing with all the Porsche cars through the ages. You are given headsets... More

We all know how exciting it is to go shoe shopping with the wife, many wives will feel the same way here as this is truly the big boy fun museum. Been twice here, the displays change and always interesting to see as with this modern museum, it is well presented. The 1939 prototype is the best! Do bring your... More

This was a beautiful building and the cars were gorgeous. But, I visited after the HUGE Mercedes-Benz museum so it seemed disappointingly small in comparison.

Possibly a bit more clinical than Mercedes and BMW museums, but, with an interesting selection of vehicles, which changes on a regular basis. There is everything from the early cars, concept cars, one-offs, race cars and prototypes (both Porsche and for other manufacturers).

If you are into cars you will enjoy this! A lot of beautiful porsche cars also real racecars. Some very interesting displays showing the technology behind what makes these cars so amazing. We also ate lunch in the restaurant there which was very nice. we had tried to arrange a factory tour prior to our visit but the factory was... More

I love Porsche and have wanted to come to this museum since the new building opened. The building is very cool, stark and mostly white and steel, it gives a very German feel. The cars on display are incredible, from stuff you see in the real world, 924's, 912's, etc to cars I've only read about in magazines and stuff... More

I love Porsche! I also visited the Mercedes Benz Museum and I enjoyed Porsche much more! It's smaller than MB but cooler! You feel like you're in a James Bond movie as you're strolling around the museum. There is a driving simulator inside the museum. It's fun, but you do have to wait in a short line to do it.... More

Spent an enjoyable couple of hours here, the audio tour included in the admission price is a must. You can tell these exhibits are not just for show, the race cars all show their battle scars and the smells of racing oils and the like add to the experience.

We went to Porsche before Mercedes which is a good idea. The Porsche building is very stylish and they have the full history of Porsche automobile innovation, but it is a novella compared to Mercedes novel. The interior is all white and they DO have some loverly cars, For the kids (of all ages) they also have a video simulator... More
