I am not a particularly mechanically-minded person, but went along for the fun and history of the place. My husband and young daughter (8) truly enjoyed the experience. The history was well-explained and the audio tour was very comprehensive. I enjoyed the tour, as learning about the personalities and drive of the Porsche leadership was very interesting. It was more... More

Visited the museum in Sept 2013 (50th anniversary of the 911), and Dec 2014 (Project Secret - Prototype vehicles). The museum periodically updates itself with new cars brought out, and special exhibitions. Check their website for the latest. This review is from the point of view of a dedicated Porsche fan and engineer. First time round (2013), we had an... More

The ideas put forward by this genious engeneer have determined the axes of car development for the century. Was interested by the fact that the WWBeatle was also his idea.

If you are not a fan of Porsche or simply came here to view beautiful cars, this may not be the place. Prosche is famous for being fast, not beautiful... Also, the museum, in my opinion, was badly arranged and it's difficult to find a theme or chronology. It's more like a visit to a Porsche garage showcasing the cars... More

I have liked Porsche since I was child, well a lot of boys do!! One of my most favourites is the type 901, more commonly know as the 911 and I also like a 904. So being the 50th anniversary of the 911 in 2013 we had to visit the museum in Stuttgart before continuing on our way to our... More

After visiting the Mercedes museum we visited Porsche. The cars were fantastic however the overall experience was underwhelming when compared to the Mercedes museum. Mercedes was much larger and overall a nicer experience.

For car guys this is a must see. They have so many of thier past race cars and many prototypes. They rotate the cars since there is not enough space and it is great! This is not nearly as nice and well presented as the Mercedes Museum but is a must see for the automobile enthusiast.
