Historic market building with an array of food stalls from around the world. It was Christmas market time so we didn't sample anything but in summer would have a great place to source a picnic for a nearby park.

easily accessible, very beautiful with. wide range of fresh produce and even desserts. a bit small for a market in my opinion, and I went through it q quickly but the sights and sounds and smells were very pleasing.

The Markthalle in a compact food market with small shops and sections for selling different types of food ; raw and ready to eat in a well organised , tidy and clean environment . it will be more interesting for locals carrying out their daily shopping than for tourists with nothing special to see or photograph. Although it is not... More

Well worth a wee walk round this bustling market of some superb produce. Pretty busy when we were there but this all adds to the atmosphere.

Well, if you are a foodie like me and loves to try different things to eat, this is a MUST GO! There are sooo many cool options, you definitely need more than a single visit to really savor it all! I tried the cheese from one stand and the cold cuts from another. Both were fantastic! The only shame is... More

Love the markthalle, one great place where you can forget time while walking and looking at all the incredible good things from all over the world and of course from the greater Stuttgart area. :D

Really loved our visit to the Markthalle in Stuttgart. It had a really lively, fun feel, lots of produce and food and it was all so well priced. We went away with some cheese, meats and bakery goods, all for the less than 10euro in total. I would recommend a visit and bring cash to pick up whatever you like.... More

Oh my gosh! This is what a market is supposed to look like! Under cover of a lovely old building, this market smells amazing and looks amazing! There are more cheeses, sausages and salami's, olives, fresh breads, than you could eat in a lifetime! Everything is bright and colourful under their own awnings, plenty of lights, beautifully presented fruits and... More

Excellent food market, a must if you're in Stuttgart. Grab some produce and take it to the centre square for a great lunch. There's plenty of food ready to eat as well.
