you can visit the museum or you can also just take a walk out side in the garden around it and if its sunny then you can also lay down under the sun and gain some vitamin D in a good place like that!

I happily spent several hours touring this wonderful museum. I was very impressed with the breadth of historical pieces they posses. The museum is beautifully laid out, with a nice flow. The 'interactive' portions of the museum felt organic and helpful, not imposed upon you, as in so many other museums. I. was especially impressed with the activity tables in... More

I love Schloss Karlsruhe. The interior decoration is beautiful and incredibly well preserved. The garden is peaceful and really nice. The way the Palace (Schloss) is situated and the way the city streets radiate out from the Palace, gives the city Karlsruhe the name Faecherstadt (Fan City). Nearby is the Marktplatz with its Pyramid, the resting place of the City's... More

The Landesmuseum is located in Karlsruhe Palace. The Palace itself has a very impressive façade as you approach from the town centre. The museum itself is mildly interesting - and entry is free on Friday afternoons. If you are feeling fit, you can climb to the top of the tower for views over the town and the park that surrounds... Exhibition on second floor is brilliant! Household things in modern design from start of 19 century looks very trendy nowadays

For all history buffs out there, you need to visit this. Located inside the Karlsruhe Palace it contains one of the largest architectural collections starting from the ancient civilizations and the stone ages to the modern ages covering WWII and also the musics and sounds of modern times. There are especially beautiful pieces of Baden Wurttemberg royal heritage and it... More

Really big museum. You can spend all the day there. I have been there twice. The first I just saw the permanent exibition (it is already big and with a lot of different things to see), the second one I went to see the exibition: "Empire of Gods".

Its a nice museum with a lot of exhibits. I didn't like that in the first floor there was "treasures" from other countries like Egypt, Greece, etc. In other flooer there were objects combined with Kong Karl and his era. The museum could be better, if they kept a little the version where Karl lived. Every Friday,2 to 6pm, there... More

The Badische Landesmuseum is most definitely worth a visit, when in town. You can see many beautiful things and learn about the history of the city/region. The palace alone is worth visiting, and there's a tower with great views. The gardens behind the palace are beautiful with cafes, etc.

The schloss is undergoing renovation but this museum is open and it is a pleasant way to spend a morning. There is an audioguide in English which covers part of the exhibition. We really enjoyed learning a bit about the rulers of this part of Germany.the walk through the park is delightful
