Nice view

Highest place of Karlsruhe, it has a nice view. You can arrive there by cabe car (2.8 to go and return) or by foot (it is a little tiring). A nice place to visit in Karlsruhe.

great spot , there is a new terrace build in 2015. You have a nice view over Karlsruhe and Durlach. You can go there by car or train. If you like it hardstyle you can use uncountable stepps up the hill :-) one of the best spots in Karlsruhe to take some beautiful pics of the sunrise/set

This is a fun tower to climb, and it has a tram that takes you to the top. It also has a newly built platform that gives you a nice spot to view the city. There were people with picnic baskets just hanging out. The tower has steep stairs to the top but is relatively accessible to most and worth... More

From here we took stunning views into the city of Karlsruhe. The tower is located close to Durlach, one of Karlsruhe's best living areas. We celebrated New Year's Eve with locals. It is a tradition every year. Nice place to take sights into the Badische Laendle too.

I visited turemberg in early feb 2015 and the temperature was 0 deg C. I took a tram to durlach and turemberg is very closeby. After a short walk the tram for the steepest slope was there. However some construction was going on and hence not wrking. By walk to turemberg was awesome. Could see snowy hill view and beautiful... More

If you want to have a nice look of the city and understand its size, this is the best spot for doing so. Also, the trip on the tram is a nice experience. Affordable prices and if the weather is nice, your pictures will be nicer.

The Turmberg is a large hill (you couldn't really say it is a mountain) at Durlach just outside Karlsruhe. To get there, you need to take the tram to Tullastrasse, then a bus (number 11, I think) to Durlach. There is a funicular railway to take you to the top, where there is a tall mediaeval tower that the energetically... More

This is a nice place to view the surrounding area around Karlsrhue, the tram makes it a fun addition to the trip. You can go taking the trolley S1, until the last stop, climb 1 block following signs. Trolley fare one way is $1.90, round trip $2.80. If you decide to walk down, There is a less steep path, if... More

It is a good trip to do in Karlsruhe. A great view of the city, Turmberg is the highest point of Karlsruhe. If you like to walk, you can go on foot, but there is a option to take a "tram" that leave you in there (you need to pay for it). There are restaurant there, so you can enjoy... More
